Well I am gutted - my client turned up in the office near my mum's to meet me and I was at my home office some 160 miles away. Silly mare said she'd left a message on the office answer phone sometime in the last 3 weeks but this never got to me. Considering I had emailed, phoned and written to confirm I would not travel until I spoke to her to agree a time and place, it was rather silly of her.
I had to speak to her on the phone instead and now I don't need to go and see her. Really disappointed as would have been nice to see my mum.
Other than that, today has been very productive but because my boss was still in a bad mood I didn't get those 2 bothersome cases off my desk, he refused to sign off my reports. He now says he'll try to do it on Monday, well if he does, I won't be there as its Granny day on Monday.
The other client still hasn't confirmed he's available next Thursday, so fingers crossed he doesn't do the same. That's a 6 hour one way trip and involves an overnight stay in a hotel, so I can't travel if he doesn't confirm, too much money wasted.
Made very nice broccoli and potato soup tonight, was really pleased with myself. Couldn't decide what to eat but had to use up the broccoli and decided to go for soup. It was yummy and OH, after initially turning up his nose at it, has just polished off the rest of it, saying how nice it was.
Had another NSD today, which may be my last for a couple of days. May go out for coffee with friend tomorrow and buying a latest in beauty box on Sunday, unless they sell out, so next chance at NSD is Monday when I think I'm probably going food shopping for next week's veg, perhaps I should go Sunday instead and then I can have a NSD on Monday - LOL, makes no difference financially but psychologically it makes all the difference.
Signature updated accordingly. I going to bed soon as I'm rather tired. No Lems1p tonight and no squash to take to bed

You will all be proud of me.
I have been trying to empty my freezer ,so tonight i cooked a goodfeller pizza that recently glitched and i actually read the instructions and cooked it on the tray provided so didnt have to scrape it from the bottom of the oven:rotfl:MAKE £2022 in 2022 no 29 £2022/£434.10

My OH refuses to read the cooking instructions on things and often burns them because he's had too many beers. I have been known to attempt to start the pizza/other convenience food cooking process, only for him to come and [STRIKE]see what I'm doing[/STRIKE] take over so I've left him to it. When I go to eat it, its burnt around the edges and rather dry. Yummy - not :rotfl:
We don't often eat ready made items and I don't often cook because he's so anal in the kitchen and I refuse to be dictated to, so I only cook when he's not around and until last week I really couldn't be ars3d to cook for just me.

I have spent the morning doing surveys and entering competitions because OH is at work. I was up rather early this morning as the post man woke me from my dream. I was rather randomly dreaming of rather a scary centipede type character that could open window catches from the outside, even though I'd pushed the window closed - random or what?
Anyway, I was dragged from this dream by a knock on the door and as I am expecting a parcel from a beauty box subscription I took out a while ago, before my MSE days, I rushed out of bed to get it before he left the red card in its place.
I opened the door, looking rather dishevelled to be handed a parcel for my OH instead. Now I certainly would not have dragged myself out of bed for that one, unless its for me, which of course it won't be. I wonder what [STRIKE]useful stuff[/STRIKE] tat he's been buying now.
Having looked at the clock I thought it was 8.45 and was rather shocked to still be in bed asleep at this hour. However, I later looked at the clock and it was only 8.05, so goodness knows what time it was, probably 6.45 as I'd been up for ages. Now as my post usually arrives at midday or later, I wonder what on earth he was doing knocking my door at that time.
I then realised I'd woken up when OH went to work at 5am and having looked at the clock thought thank goodness its too early to get up yet, as I'm shattered. At that moment I thought it was a weekday and I had to get up for work. He doesn't usually work weekends so it confused me in my slumber. I must have drifted back off into the centipede dream and you know the rest.
My friend and I have decided not to go for coffee today but go tomorrow instead, when I will also be doing my sm shop for next week's veg. Not much needed so will be pretty LSD and may be a NSD today, depending on whether OH wants to do anything when he comes home.
BFN, hope you are all having a good day, talk later Gx2 xTargets
