Oh Christmas tidy, I have done the whole house expect the kitchen and the hallway / landing as we are currently decorating it. However hallway done so tonight I will be scrubbing and polishing to my heart's content. Although no washing of walls and woodwork needed as all freshly painted so won't take long at all.

Well all the ironing got done and the cardis I made for DGDs are finished except for their buttons. Bedrooms tidied too.

Had a nsd as decided not to go out after all. Tomorrow OH and I are going food shopping and I'm hoping M0rr!s0ns sells buttons because then I could possibly have another nsd. OH will pay for food and may get him to buy some wrapping paper for his own presents too as I seem to have run out.

On Sunday DGDs are coming over for a couple of hours and OH is going to take DGD1 to buy me a gift while I take DGD2 to pick up one more thing. Then I truly have finished my Christmas shopping.

I didn't end up posting the cards after all so saved a bit of money there. I've sent eflowers and if asked about the cards will blame the postman. He's brought me so much grief over the last few years, he owes me a few. That lets me keep face with those to whom I normally send cards and haven't this year.

Off to bed now as I'm pretty tired after a busy day. OH wanted wine tonight but I couldn't face it. I've had a bit of a funny head all day and didn't think wine would help. I'm considering being t-total for health reasons next year, not that I drink loads but to be honest I don't think I'd miss it so may give it a go.

Night all, hope you have a good weekend and your Christmas plans are moving along swimmingly

Well shopping done, couple of small bits still needed I may get them tomorrow when I go out with DGD2. I can't be bothered to go back out now as it is tipping down.

OH paid for buttons and wrapping paper. So NSD achieved.

Free coffees didn't happen as the company couldn't scan the barcode, they confirmed they'd had problems with it all morning and were asking the customers to ring customer services instead. TBH I think they should have a system in place to sort it without us having to contact CS but hey, ho, its a free coffee after all. OH paid for coffee and cake anyway.

Trying to summon up the energy to go and wrap presents but the darts is so much more entertaining. (as I typed that OH has turned the darts over to Cricket! which I cannot stand), so maybe I'll go and wrap the presents after all.

Oh, now the darts are back on, oops no they are not its now football, LOL and now darts again. I think I may have to go upstairs as his sports surfing is doing my head in. :rotfl:

ps, one of his presents, that's really mine, is a spare sky remote so when he falls to sleep I can turn the channel over without disturbing him by either pinching the control off him or by asking him to turn over/spin through the adverts, which happens more often than not.
