Well thanks to Dear Mum-In-Law we now have all the money to pay that bill and I have come clean to OH about it. She has been giving us money for Xmas for 10 years but this year excelled herself by giving us enough to pay the whole bill. I am so relieved. OH has been good and confirmed that all the money will be used to pay that bill.

I bought the £15 present for DGD2 today and it is lovely, a Peppa Pig toy with a remote control that allows the toy to play hide and seek with you. I'm fairly certain DGD1 will want to play with it too.

So not a NSD today but a LSD. I've also found out that something I ordered yesterday is now doing free delivery so I have emailed the company to ask them either to cancel my order or my delivery charge, which means I should have £2.95 back.

Nearly bought a gift for my DM but as I don't know if I'll see her before Christmas I'm going to wait until I know for sure as the thing I want to buy her is a Yoga for Cats calendar, which will be cheaper in the new year.

I googled the images and found this one which had me giggling:

Well I went to DM's after all on Monday, having spoken to HIM about the case and HIM deciding we should still go ahead with the meeting. It went well but goodness the office was cold. I went back to DM's after the meeting and stayed for another hour, having spent the night before with her. I then drove home in the dark and fog, which was a little harrowing, arriving home freezing cold and shattered at 7.30pm.

Didn't manage to buy DM's Christmas present so picked up a cheap box of chocolates for her and will get the calendar in the New Year. It's not as though she needs it beforehand.

Finished off OHs presents today and have decided not to get anything else for DF. I just cannot afford to do it and he doesn't need anything. I had already bought him a set of hand warmers and he never appreciates anything that is bought for him and buys anything he wants so it's silly just to buy stuff for the sake of it, especially when I cannot afford it.

So that is it, Christmas is done. OH will pay for the food so the £20 I have in my purse should just about last until I get paid on the 31st.

My diary is 7 months old tomorrow and I just do not have the energy to do a debt/diary update, so I'm not. I'm going to do one in the new year as a prompt for how far I have come this year.

OH's B^rcl^yc^rd have agreed to continue with the reduced payments and no interest for another year which is really good. The balance is now under £9k and every payment we make is reducing the balance which is so satisfying to see. I'm waiting on H$BC debt collectors again now as the temporary agreement has now expired. I'm hoping they will continue to accept the reduced amount as I cannot afford to increase the payment to them. I'm struggling at the moment, although I'm well aware that because OH pays for certain things my situation is no where near as dire as other people on here.

I so wish someone would listen to me singing "I wanna be a billionaire", especially the line "so flipping bad", and grant my desire so I could sort out the situation for some very wonderful people on here, (You know who you are)

Be back in a mo with a funny as I for one am in severe need of cheering up.
