They just tell me to take a copy of my credit report into the branch. I did that and the branch then tell you that the updates go through monthly and they cannot do anything with the report.
How do I get Lloyds TSB to do the updates, they are showing adverse information which was deleted from experian at the start of this year still. I asked if I could send them a copy of my credit report they tell me no I cannot :-(
For what it's worth the two CRAs they use Credit Expert score me at 965 and Call Credit at 5/5 and no derogatory information on there. Go figure why that's now stopping me and how I go about getting Lloyds TSB to update their computer systems.
there must be something I can do, data they are holding is inaccurate as far as I can see and must be a breach of data protection act.
Do you want to upgrade your account then.0 -
I would like them to accept me for their credit card, and obviously correct inaccurate data. Don't actually want an account upgrade just clicked on the button to see if it was available as that's what phone bank told me is all I am eligible for0

If they don't want your buisness by giving you a credit card maybe apply for a CC at another bank, then you will know that's somethings not quite right going on if you get rejected.
Just a thought.0 -
I did and will no doubt switch my main current account to NatWest. They have accepted me for a OD and Credit Card on my account with them.
Still annoys me though that this is not right with LTSB as I'll still be using them for their higher rates of interest on their current accounts as NatWest don't pay much interest. Shame really.0 -
LTSB system is now offering a credit card now I've gone and got one from NatWest.
In two minds now whether to apply or not in branch to be sure. I don't want the two cards I'd prefer Lloyds TSB but I don't want to mess NatWest around either.
It's just typical.0 -
How do you know you're approved for a credit card?0

Do what suits you. As you know to any bank you are just an account number and figures.0 -

But I am sticking to my guns employee or not your still wrong.
Not saying your a jobsworth but many bank employees are jobsworths forced robots where the majority of them don't have a clue unless it's on their screen.
If I go into a bank with a problem I make sure I see the organ grinder rather then the monkey.
You seem to think you know more than employees. Even though, customers want to pay money to the bank, the bank has certain procedures to follow and not all customers qualify for an AVA. FACT!
As for speaking to the organ grinder, the majority of them don't even know the procedures they have to implement. They keep coming bank to the monkey for advice - the monkey does the job day in and day out!0 -

Quick post before work. I believe I am quite happy with the sufficient evidence posted on this thread I will hold my hands up and say I was wrong.0
