You are still wrong and until you can prove that internal scores are used to upgrade a £9 current account to a £12 current account what ever the price is, then I will eat my words.
But I am sticking to my guns employee or not your still wrong.
Not saying your a jobsworth but many bank employees are jobsworths forced robots where the majority of them don't have a clue unless it's on their screen.
If I go into a bank with a problem I make sure I see the organ grinder rather then the monkey.0 -
BugsyBrown - did you read my post?
I am not a LTSB employee, but the experiences I had in upgrading my account seem to back up MME's posts. The inference from the person I saw in Branch was that upgrades are not just a case of paying the monthly fee, but are based on personal circumstances too. Now to me that would imply internal scoring of some variety. The lady I saw in Branch was certainly no jobsworth, and went out of her way to help me.
As I stated, I am not a bank employee, or a mate of MMEs!0 -

Right for starters you need to re-read the thread and we are talking about the facility that everyone has when upgrading online not in branch.
No way are you going to be internally scored for worldwide travel insurance instead of European, and the sake of £3 a month.
We can argue till the cows come home on this but I know banks love people upgrading, and I would say its normally the the people who ain't got a pot to pi*s in are the ones with the platinum £25 accounts.0 -
Nine times outta ten the organ grinder knows less than the monkey and is better paid for it lol0

I was once told that my internal score would allow me to have a premier account, which I politely declined, so maybe it does go on internal score.
When I check online now though and click on the upgrade button the only option is to upgrade to Silver.0 -

At the bottom of that page, there is a button to compare with all accounts - have you got the option to upgrade to other accounts there?0
