You should have been given twice as much back!!!!!
The Tesco policy for overcharging is that they give you double the overcharge back.
Explain what happened and they will happily send you a gift card with the correct amount credited on it!!!!!!
Grrrr. I hate how Tesco customer service staff instore never follow the policy that is written clearly on the wall behind the desk!!!
Thanks for this JJ i thought DTD only counted if the item was priced up wrong on the shelf edge. I will certainly call customer services!!

Meg72 - So sorry Meg. I know you've been visiting her in hospital for some time as you have written about it on here so I'm guessing she was ill but it's horrible. It's almost the anniversary of my Dad dying and I still miss him, eighteen years on (he was too young). I put a nice picture of my Dad in good health, having a wonderful time on holiday, next to my bed so that I always saw the happy picture and I found it helped me remember him before his last illness.
My very best wishes

Don't forget to use the carrot greens too! They go lovely when added to carrot soup. I like to grow carrots, purely for the foliage!!!:j:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Oh Meg72 so sorry to hear about your mum. Big hugs to you and your family at this sad time xx
Just needed bread today, so annoyed as was in town yday and forgot it  so OH drove me to tesco....big mistake! He wanted hotdogs (those nasty tinned things) for lunch, told he straight it's not coming out of my housekeeping money. So he asked could he buy it with his own money so I told him he can buy whatever he wants - so he did then got home and cooked them for us both lol. He also bought some 19p doughnuts too. Yep he's one healthy guy! He's not really grasping the idea of GC so well, it's near the end of our month so I'm not buying non-essentials.
Did buy £9 of fruit and veg yday at the market. Did get loads and treated myself to cherries. Was gone 3pm so many things were down in price. Just over my target, but not too bad for the frst month. Still it ends on Thursday so we'll see. Will update sig now.
Does anyone else's OH just not get the idea? And does anyone else have to be the meanie in the shop saying we're not buying X, Y & Z?:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

Ooo, that's a nice idea! Is there anything else I could use them in? Or can you eat them raw, as sort of like salad greens?!
