Hi Guys
Cleggie your dog sounds lovely!! Id love love love a dog but OH says no as we both work FT!!
Spent £34 in Aldi today for a full weeks shop- am pleased with that- hopefully meal planning starting to pay off.
£3.00 to 2nd purse
Aldi had fun size apples, oranges, small bananas, melon and cherries for 69p- bargains!!!
OH currently making a carrot cake to take to my friends daughters 1st birthday gathering later so looking forward to a slice of that (shhhh though as im on a diet :rotfl:)O/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0 -
Just back from Mr T - spent £31 but this did include toiletries and dog food, and about a ton of fruit so not too bad I suppose.
It leaves me with about £22 for next week if I'm going to stay within budget.
Rising - hope the dog is feeling better. I know I turn into a paranoid, overly possessive wreck when my pooch is poorly:o0 -

Hi all, spent another £41.41 between mr m and a!d! Although that did include 2 bottles of wine (one hidden in the wardrobe for next week!).
Ha Ha! I'm so glad I'm not the only one that does that!
Just catching up on the thread, got about another 10 pages to go....
I'm still doing the challenge but have been a bit rubbish at writing down what I've spent but I'm fairly confident that I'm doing ok.
This month I've made chicken stock from the chicken carcass after Sunday dinner and frozen some for future use, plus we've made JJ's micro puds - they're delish. OH is well into making them now and he's made a chocolate one and a jam one with a sprinkling of coconut on top! I can see this is going to be very bad for our waistlines...:)0 -
Yes Flo he is liver and white, i feel incredibly lucky to have found him and i really think he'll help me sleep better at night. Although all he'd do to any intruders at the moment is lick them to death
Didnt have to spend any extra money either, as the previous owners gave me the dog bowls, all his toys, his dog cage, all the food they had, treats, blankets etc, so i have not had to spend anything at all today.
Not bad i dont think. I paid £175 for him, including all of those extras, and they originally wanted £250.
So, its been a NSD for the GC todayWill have to pop to Mr T at some point tomorrow, but i am happy to report a NSD today.

Awww I really want a dog too. A girl at the town parade had a really sweet whippet x jack russel and my heart just melted! Sounds lovely cleggie, he will be great company for you.
The market here is no cheaper than the shops, no bargains like the one where I used to liveThere are some farm shops around but of course it's "organic" "rare breed" aka expensive!
Just spent £13.90 at Mr S and the green grocer. This did include 2 x 4 packs of chicken breast as it's on offer at £6/kg and most of that will go in the freezer, plus some bits for this week while OH is on his own. He forgets about the budget a lot and uses up the expensive ingredients so I will be hiding some of the cheese and chicken breasts at the bottom of the freezer and dedicating a shelf in the fridge to snacks for him: super cheap fruit pots, smoothies, oatcakes and cream eggs from AF plus some HM banana flapjacks that we'll make later today. Also need to make up a box of museli using oats and bits from AF for when the basics cereals run out and Mr Kelloggs is calling his name! He loses sight of the budget so easily, his family are quite well off and he's never had to save or budget even at uni but his profession isn't very well paid so he needs to get used to not having much money!Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
So much has happened in the 6 days I have been away.
Fozzie - I hope that all turns out OK for your daughter. Big hugs.
JJ - Left over chilli and cake sounds a great tea to me. I hope your eyes are soon better.
Cleggie - So, so sorry. It must have been really scary to interrupt the intruders. The dog sounds lovely though and is making me quite dog broody if there is such a thing!
Good luck all with the remainder of June.0 -
Just popped on briefly to post a spend of £9.82 at Mr M this afternoon. Few bottles of squash and some lattes. Anyway, will update my sig now. Have a good day!
