My eyes always feel gritty. I didn't realise that it could lead to something serious so just got on with it.

Now I know better, I will make sure I use artificial tears ALL the time as I was told it will reoccur if the condition of the eyes doesn't significantly improve. :(

Ow.....so sorry things got so bad for your eyes JJ, sounds horrible, hope you feel a lot more comfortable very soon indeed, enjoy this evening! (Or maybe it was yesterday evening, I am trying to catch up) ;)

Hi all, hugs to everyone who needs them, especially fozzie, JJ and cleggie xxx

Well, actually managed to get hold of some YS stuff today and got some chicken breasts reduced from £4 to £2, rapsberries at £1 and so made rapsberry muffins with DD2 this afternoon (and also cooked some mini sausages as snacks to utilise the oven). Also got some Jalapeno and coriander sausages for £1 (these sound delish!). Will update siggy in a bit. Gonna be tight but determined to do it!!

Thanks, Rosieben, for updating the index - I do like to have a browse for meal ideas. :)

Well, today has been another NSD! That takes June's total to 7 so far - more than I think I've ever managed in my working life :D So that's a minor achievement. I made a mistake when doing my shopping list as I thought I'd got enough squash to last the weekend. Now, the relatives will be up on Saturday and silly me mistook one of the bottles for the cooking oil bottle, so I'll have to pop to the shops to get some more. And Mr KB has got through another box of Tassimo lattes so will need to get some more of those too..

I'm really looking forward to tea tonight - Jambalaya - but Mr KB has gone out for a bit and I'll have to wait for him to get home in order to start cooking. Will just browse the biccie tin for a while ;) With a cup of tea, naturally!

Have a lovely evening everyone. (((hugs))) to JJ, Fozzie and Cleggie.

    K xx

    NSD here again.
Nearly at the end of June's GC. We had prawn curry, rice & pitta bread for dinner.
Bit of a disaster meal - no naan bread and rice was overcooked while waiting for Mr F to come home with the dog. Still - it was empty plates.
