    Aww thanks :o

Actually, I haven't been able to browse much.
On Wednesday I went to A&E as I couldn't use my eye at all. I was in agony from 9 in the morning. I could only use my eye if I pulled the lid away.
OH took me A&E in the evening as I had been lying down all day trying to rest the eye and avoid using it.
I was told I had a corneal ulcer that was also infected.
My appointment at the eye clinic yesterday revealed that the damage isn't just to the cornea as both eyes are in a very poor state due to an unrecognised dry eye condition going untreated for so long.

So now I look like a pirate with my eyepatch:rotfl:
I should have taken the kids on a leather crafting day today but daren't drive:eek:
There was a big party arranged tonight for the young uns but I've decided to go ahead as they love it do much.

I am at this moment standing in the kitchen wondering how I will survive an onion chopping session for the chilli:eek:

    Thanks for noticing :A

Hope you feel better soon. Did you not realise that your eyes were dry?

  • Hi Chaps,

It is a wet miserable day here. DS and I just made a cake (cooling now ready for icing and smells lovely). Freezer using up going well. I am defrosting some braising steak as I found a Delia recipe online for braised steak au poivre. I just needed to buy some single cream so will add those spends and my veg box came yesterday so need to add that on too. Going to serve the dinner with roastie's and broccoli.

Hugs for those in need xxx

My eyes always feel gritty. I didn't realise that it could lead to something serious so just got on with it.

Now I know better, I will make sure I use artificial tears ALL the time as I was told it will reoccur if the condition of the eyes doesn't significantly improve. :(

 just received an approved food order with some ridiculous substitutions for 1/4 the value of my order. Instead of tofu I got toilet roll, tea bags, peanuts, curry rice mix, cous cous mix, popadoms aka all the stuff they can't shift  Not impressed, would rather have had a refund so have sent an email/ticket whatever you call it!

Well there goes a few of my planned meals :(

I have never used approved foods it just doesnt appeal to me i would rather rummage about for the grub in cheap shops, i not putting it down i would be the first to grab ood foods i not a snob its just we dont eat enough curries and popadoms and stuff dont like fajittas or whatever they called so its a waste me ordering just for a few things,i did look at their site a few weeks ago and noticed quite a lot of their stuff toilet rolls and toiletries my own local shop sells them cheaper , i would end up buying stuff that would get pushed to back of cupboard. i like bargain stores for food like dry packets of seasoning and their tins and dried milk and then mr t for whoopsies and butchers for meat and market for fruit and veg or whoopsied in mr t (cant wait till my own veg are grown!) but then everyones different . i did a few online orders before and got really put off as the substitutes were awful so NO MORE , . i do like the farm shops but would need a gold card to shop in our local one 4.00 for a pot of jam me thinks not!!!!!!!!!!!!11
