Best wishes for fozzie and family, hope it's something innocent.
NSD here not even been out, unless you count the garden... Will need to purchase milk tomorrow. And sweeties apparently, as DS tells me. He's having some preschool jabs tomorrow so I guess he can have a treat...Bossymoo

Fozzie - still thinking of you and DD:)
Flo - your roast chicken dinner looks awesome!
Well, hoping for another NSD here today. I've just taken out 2 chicken drumsticks and 2 chorizo sausages and will magic them up into jambalaya for tea. Still got to think of a decent cake I can make for a relative's birthday this weekend... we'll see what my cookbooks yield.
Got enough stuff in to last over the weekend now. Going to do a main meat shop on Monday. Have a good day, everyone.

Pretty happy with budget so far, freezer is looking a bit bare but thats probably a good thing as I had forgotten about a few things:o that were lurking.
Well done everyone :T:TMoving towards a life that is more relaxed and kinder to the environment (embracing my inner hippy:D) .:j0 -

Aww thanks
Actually, I haven't been able to browse much.
On Wednesday I went to A&E as I couldn't use my eye at all. I was in agony from 9 in the morning. I could only use my eye if I pulled the lid away.
OH took me A&E in the evening as I had been lying down all day trying to rest the eye and avoid using it.
I was told I had a corneal ulcer that was also infected.
My appointment at the eye clinic yesterday revealed that the damage isn't just to the cornea as both eyes are in a very poor state due to an unrecognised dry eye condition going untreated for so long.
So now I look like a pirate with my eyepatch:rotfl:
I should have taken the kids on a leather crafting day today but daren't drive:eek:
There was a big party arranged tonight for the young uns but I've decided to go ahead as they love it do much.
I am at this moment standing in the kitchen wondering how I will survive an onion chopping session for the chilli:eek:
Thanks for noticing :A:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
