Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42

omyOkay post holiday finances counted and cried over :rotfl:. I am back up to £12,171.96 but I am not going to stress about it and am just going to get my head down and get on with it. To make my target of debt free by 50 I need to pay £550 per month . Tough one but I am accepting the challenge.
I have set up standing orders of £150 per month for Christmas and £150 per month for holiday fund and I am going to do see how I can do this despite the savings.
So I have approx £200 left over from my wages after paying all bills and £100 towards cc debts. So I need to make my money stretch as far as possible. I am going to try and spend just £200 per month on shopping and I will be £60 per month for DS's school dinners and bus fares so really £40 short from wages. I earn £32.50 per week for cleaning job and get £20 per week for child benefit. This makes another £220 approx per month .I get £200 from DD so if no emergency expenses then I am £70 short per month, I need to get creative :rotfl:. I need to get back to basics and really really sort myself out. I will do surveys again ( God help me) I will sell everything that I was about to send to the charity shop ( charity begins at home) and I will just generally go for it. I really want to be organised money wise for Christmas , instead of pounding my card and I also want to go on holiday so sacrifices need to be made.
I am due a bonus this month, DD owes me money and also I am due 3 payments from CSA so should manage this month. Apparently my ex has another change in his circumstances so no doubt he has lost his job again and I will get nothing from him. He didn't even give the kids any spending for their holidays. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I hold that 'man' in disdain. But I will get there without him.
So I am all motivated again and am away to carry on clearing out. I will use this week to my best advantage and get all my [STRIKE]tat[/STRIKE] treasure looked out and photographed for e-bay etc. Catch you all later xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Thanks plmbl.
Just discovered that there is a local flea market/car boot sale every Saturday in my wee town so I will continue with operation clear out and get down there first thing Saturday morning. I will need to check with DD though as I will be doing cleaning job for a while so will need her to man the stall for me whilst I am away. I've been on a rant about bills and money and how her and DS do nothing to help me so hopefully she will agree :rotfl:

Caught up with all my threads. Has taken me all day nearly
. But in addition I have cleared out my bedroom, my bathroom and my linen cupboard. I have added a few items to my stash for sale. I have also thrown out 2 bin bags of tat that I was holding onto for some reason. It's very cathartic having a major clear out. I just have my kitchen to do now and I will tackle that tomorrow as I think the weather is to be awful again. I will then gather all my treasure and get it priced up for Saturday. I hope I manage to sell a few things as there is some good stuff amongst it. It's just things I no longer want or need. Am feeling good about it tonight
and managed to only spend £3.49 on batteries as I want to get my electricity monitor up and running again so I can shout about how high the costs are :rotfl:. My kids will just love it :rotfl:...........NOT

DD is working outside this week painting house exteriors. She texted me this morning as she is working alongside plumbers and joiners who are fitting fascias and gutters. As I have told you guys mine are shot and desperately need replacing so they are on their way here to give me a price . I really need to get them done before winter tbh as I am terrified that water will get in as I have a couple damp patches already. Oh well. My plans are always flexible :rotfl:5 Year plan.
