  • Am in them PLMBL I just cant fasten them :o. SBO I am

I walked 5 miles with Bruce Springsteen blasting my ear drums. Was fab. I'm going to see him on Tuesday and I am so so so looking forward to it. He is absolutely awesome in concert :D. Took me 1.5 hours and burned off 790 cals. Was a lovely night though and that is the first time I have ever walked with the music blaring in my ears and I loved it.

Only spent 72p today on a bottle of water. Need to pull my belt in so tight now as I am skint until end of month and I mean really skint. Cupboards, freezer and fridges will e getting emptied this month just to get by. Ho hum. I have a busy week next week socially as well . Never mind something will come up :D

I hope everyone is well xx

I am so happy about this as it means my CC's will go down so much quicker. Excellent stuff. This journey is getting shorter :D.

Not much spent today as am skint *rolleyes*. I have 49p :rotfl:. I will earn £32.50 tomorrow and will try and keep that for Tuesday for my day out. I have loads of food for this week so we will eat well. My first payment of child support is due next week so prayers are now required :o. If he pays I will make it to the end of the month , if he doesn't then I will be in overdraft yet again :(. I have some change that I can take to the supermarket if needs be but I am going to really do my best not to buy anything unless it is essential. Car is full of petrol so fingers crossed I manage it. I will do my bloody best anyway.

  • Just read my last post. What a lot of sh*te I talk. I was back in ASDA again today. I seriously have a food shopping problem. Help me . In saying that though I very very rarely throw food out as I cannot stand waste. I've watched too many programmes about starving kids and my conscience kills me if I throw food in the bin. This is part of the reason I am trying to get weight off as well as I feel so guilty about folks starving.

I heard a really sad story today about my cousin. We were at my aunties for our dinner and had popped around to my other aunt's to see her on way home. My cousin came in and she looked terrible. My wee Aunt then told me that my cousin was being made homeless. Her husband took ill about 18 months ago and now has brain damage. His bed is in the lounge of his house as he cannot get upstairs but it is a private let they are in and the owner wants to sell up so they need to leave. They have both worked all their life but his job had a tied house which they lost due to his illness hence the private let. They were offered a council house but it was totally unsuitable for their needs. She is worried sick as she doesn't know how she will cope with everything and she is having to move in with her son. I am so upset for her. It is so unfair. They have worked so hard and all their savings have gone and now they are out of a home. Tragic. I have said that we will help in any way we can for decorating etc and I really do hope they call us :(.

This has made me very grateful for my lot and also made me even more determined to sort this debt out once and for all.

My wee Aunt that I went to dinner with gave me a £25 M&S voucher. Bless. I'm going to get myself something nice as all my clothes are getting too big :D

  • Good afternoon folks. Wee cheeky day off today as I was away seeing Bruce Springsteen yesterday and was late home. He was absolutely amazing again. Loved it.

So I am tweaking things again as I am getting quite stressed as I am missing my target each month. I have decided that the £600 I had set myself was just way too high. I really want rid of this debt but not to the detriment of the rest of my life. So my plan is , I was 48 yesterday and I want to be debt free the month before I am 50. This means I need to pay £430 a month. This month I have only managed £308 :( and its been tough going. I have set up my snowball from July until May 2015 @ £430 per month and I can hopefully manage that.

In addition to the debt I want to be at target weight by the time I am 50 so I am giving myself lots of time :). So I am feeling all motivated again as I have a set target to get and a timescale to reach.

  • Thanks guys. Been a strange old week and not the best one in my life :(.

As you know I went to see Brucie on Tuesday night. This was my first birthday without my Mum and in the morning I was really upset. I couldn't stop crying and this shocked me as I was so looking forward to my day out with my 2 friends. Anyway we went out early in the afternoon. We had a few drinks and a small meal. There was wine with the meal and then we had a bottle of vodka between us. In the stadium we had a few as well. We were having a great time and making friends all around us. One couple have added me on facebook so we were obviously okay and not a pain in the backside. When we came out one of my friends just turned and became a snarling fiend because our taxi was stuck in traffic. She was shouting and swearing like a fish wife and I was so so mortified I didn't know where to look. She has done this to me before a few years ago and it was all brushed under the carpet but we were taking my deputy manager in our taxi and she gave me such a showing up in front of her that I am not sure that we can move on from here. I know it was the booze that did it to her but I am really not prepared to put up with her nonsense. I ended up telling her where to go and how to get there and so did my other friend and she was very lucky that we made sure she got home .We have all been friends for over 30 years so it is even more upsetting. She hasn't even had the grace to phone us and apologise and I am gutted. She has fallen out with all of her family and has no-one except us and her husband and daughter and she will end up with no-one at all. I am worried about her but I have had enough. Her family have a real problem with drink and mental health issues and I think she is going down the same route, Very sad to see.

Anyway money wise things are still rubbish as I spent an absolute fortune on Tuesday. Not going to get my knickers in a twist over it though as it is done now. Shouldn't be long until I find out if ex has paid the maintenance. Hope you are all saying your prayers for me
