SBO good idea. I have a few pennies saved and also 50p's in a terramundi but I am saving them until December as it's DS's 16th birthday then and I want to treat him to a meal out or something and December is always a tight month. I reckon I have about £40 so far.
Well today has been a write off for me as my IBS has been horrific. I've been eating healthily and exercising so I have no reason to be ill but OMG I have been. I got about 3 hours sleep last night and although I managed to stay in work it was awful and I couldn't wait to get home. I went straight to bed when I came in at 5pm and am just about feeling a bit better now. I phoned for my blood results today but they are not back yet so I am no further forward. Anyway I'm sure I'll be fine tomorrow. Well I hope I am as I have been bloody miserable today. Never mind it is always good for the diet as I am so seedy and in so much pain I can hardly eat anything. There's always a positive !!
Spends wise I have been not too bad. Spent £23 on a gift for my best friends birthday tomorrow, £1 on a raffle ticket, £5 for flowers for a colleagues 50th birthday and £5 bonus ball in work. Hopefully my only other spend this week will be DD's slimming club money as I have promised to pay it leading up to her holiday to encourage her to lose a few pounds before she heads off to Florida for 3 weeks. Lucky girl
I watched the hunger games on netflix for free as I have access to my brother's account and it was an excellent film. I am just going to settle down now and try and get a good night's sleep and hopefully be back to normal in the morning5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hi mit sorry to hear youve been ill with ibs , are the blood tests checking for celiacs or anything like that as most people think they have ibs but its really the fact they cant eat gluten or dairy ?0

Back to normal today
. Been very very careful with what I ate though and doing okay. Bloods were for coeliac disease and results not back yet. Never mind. No moaning today as I am fine
.
Went to pics with 2 friends tonight. Was only £3 and a nice wee night out. Saw the Big Wedding which was okay but nothing to write home about. No other spends today so hopefully I am getting back into money saving. I even did a menu this week and am sort of sticking to it. I have given myself £250 for grocery shopping this month and I am going to try really hard to stick to it.
Am introducing DD to quidco tonight as she is stepping into the adult world and getting her own phone contract . Scary stuff. I also phoned up and got her a card on my CC for heading to Florida. She will pay off anything she spends and I have told her she has a £500 limit. She will not use it unless she has an emergency or there is an absolute, cannot live without purchase she needs :rotfl:. I will feel much better knowing she has a safety net since she is on the other side of the world.
The other £300 from CSA is in my account now so all is well in finance world for a wee while5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Fingers crossed for you SBO. My first actual payment is to be paid by ex on 16th June and should then be £51 per week but I reckon I have no chance. They'll probably need to go for a wage arrestment. We'll see
.
Today's spends are £2.40 on baked potato, £1.98 on strawberries, £4.95 on slimming world for DD as I took out a 12 week plan and £3.40 for SW bars. Not too bad but could still be better. I'm working on it. So I got 5lbs off of the 7 I put on last week. Have been peeing all week so I reckon loads of it was fluid ( apologies for TMI :rotfl:) Another 2.5lbs to get back to my lowest. I want to lose about 9lbs over next 3 weeks so I am under the next stone and then try and get another half stone off whist DD is in America on hols. Well that's the plan anyway
Paid a wee extra £24 off of tesco but a long way to go to reach my monthly target. I have slipped back by a month on my snowball and I don't want to get any worse than that because by hook or by crook I want to get debt free next yearxxx

Lol unless you are now a dried up husk, of course!
debt free is where we need to be.
That rhymes!!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
You're a poet, and you didnt know it ( that rhymes too :rotfl:)
I feel like a dried up old husk. I am going to be 48 :eek::eek: in 12 days. How the F did that happen? I'm sure I'm only about 26 .
I went to ASDA tonight and accidentally spent £79.93 . This is where all my money goes. I only have £102 in my budget left for food until 30th June :rotfl:. Hmmm that might be tricky. BUT I will do my best. I have no digs coming in this month from DD as I told her not to pay them due to going on her hols.
Am on strike tomorrow but the sun is shining and I am happy to lose a day's pay to just get time and enjoy it,
DS started his new school today and he loved it. Long may it last.
I think I have become too moneysaving for my own good. Last night I told DD to put on the potatoes for the dinner. It was a wee pack of jersey royals and I said to her just to wash them and put the whole pack on for us. When I got home she had 2 large pots of potatoes on and had used a whole bag of maris piper potatoes. It was only for the 2 of us . After having a blue fit at her for her stupidity I put them to the side as they were only par boiled. Tonight when we came in I made DD peel them and then I dry roasted themanything except for toss them out
. Tasted nice though :rotfl:. I think my kids think I am nuts
