Kitty, 5 kids by 21. She must be off her trolley. Can you just imagine the stretch marks !!!!! :rotfl:
Well I am naughty naughty naughty. My friend in work brought me some stewed rhubarb today and I used it as an excuse to make rhubarb sponge and custard tonight and OMG it was bloody delish. I hate to think how many syns mind you
So I am still skint, in fact I am even more skint than yesterday. I have to buy a birthday and a retirement gift this weekend. I also have a day and night out on Sunday. I'm doing the race for life and also celebrating with my friend that she is a survivor
. She has booked out a pub for us all for after the race to say thank you to everyone for their support. Bless
. It will be a fun day. So overdraft is bashed again this month and I am seriously starting to worry about my spends. Defo need to get the spends diary started again and see just where my cash is going. xx

I'm sure once you have put your mind to it MIT you'll do fine.
I've managed to stick to a spending diary for almost a month now. June will see the new post br budgets kick in. The diary should help identify weaknesses,
Have a great weekend though sometimes you just have to enjoy life x:j0 -
Hmm I was sure I posted on here yesterday
. Never mind.
I did the race for life yesterday. Got over £300 in sponsorship
. Was quite funny as loads of folks were moaning about blisters, sore backs, sore feet etc and I was fine
. I even went another walk today with my friend. We must be mad though as it was absolutely pouring from the heavens but we walked along the side of Loch Lomond and had a lovely time. Came home for tea and cake and undid all the good we had done :rotfl:
Moneywise things are awful. I am just too scared to look so I am not going to. I get paid on Friday so I will sort things out over the weekend and then panic no doubt . I think that I am having so much fun just now that I am finding it very difficult to concentrate on debt. I need to sort myself out.5 Year plan. Oh how I wish there was a wee smiley who danced with joy
. Just received £280 into my account for maintenance. It's been a full year since I received anything from my ex and I am so delighted. I had gone way into my overdraft this month and also spent money from my sponsor money from doing race for life so I was up the proverbial creek with no paddle and along comes this delightful payment. It will cover every bit of overspend
. It would be marvelous if it continues but I am doubtful it will BUT if it does then from now on I will use it for debt repayments. So so happy. I have had no letters from CSA with any explanations though so I have no idea what to expect in future, I think it is £32 per week plus arrears so watch this space I am about to fly.
New plans now. I will do my damnedest again to pay my minimums plus my cleaning money, CSA monay and money that I was paying out for loan ( finishes this month) and get rid of this bloody noose round my neck forever. I can see the light again.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Thanks KP. Scared to get hopeful as I've been here many times before for it to be taken away again. I'll only be due payments for DS for another 2 years so I can only hope he will knuckle down and continue paying5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Evening folks. Wee emotional day today. My wee buddy left work today. She has retired. I've worked with her for over 20 yrs on and off and go for tea and lunch with her every day. We put on a lovely day for her today and on Friday we will have a wee night out as well.
Fabulous news as well though as my other wee pal has been given the absolute all clear from cancer. Years and snot allover the place today. Hankies out all over the office ( actually I used a napkin being a posh bird) .
CSA called and apparently money is not for current maintenance, I have been sent £300 and another £300 is on it's way to me. Great news I hear you say but the absolutely horrifying thing is that this money has been lying in a holding account since a year ago and they just discovered it last week. I am disgusted with this as I have had a couple of snotty calls with them where they argued I had paid until June when I knew it had stopped in April  . I'm annoyed about this and will be asking for compensation. My claim is being dealt with as a complaint ( I never complained ) and it has still tkaen them 6 months to get to a final stage and as I said £600 of MY money has been sitting in their account for a bloody year!!
Anyway, the money will give me some breathing space and will pay for the caravan for DS and I for a wee week in the summer.
So life is not too bad despite the CSA annoying me muchly and the coffers are swelling slightly again and my loan finishes in 2 weeks5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

:j:jTo the CSA money :j:jAnd about bl**dy time too!! Firstly from your ex being a pain in the bum but secondly for CSA been an even bigger pain in the bum!! cannot beleive that they have held it in a holding account for all that time.
It couldnt have popped up at a better time though. Someone is looking down on you :A
:j:jAnd even better that your friend is free of the Big C.
Sorry to hear that your friend has left work. Its the people that make most jobs bearable so I really appreciate what a loss it will be not having her there
