SBO I so am :rotfl:
PLML I have had a great day. Been out in the garden from 9.30am. Front and back garden look a treat and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Only problem with that is that I have now gone and spent £47 in Homebase on bark and plants. I'll probs need more bark though as it's a couple of years since I have topped it up. Am very happy with how they are looking though and now just need the 3 of us to get busy with the paintbrushes and paint fence etc and finish it all off. It'll just need to be kept tidy the rest of the summer now and I can sit out and enjoy it. Still bits and bobs to do but I can now just tinker in it when I want to.
Did 5 loads of washing too so basket is nice and empty. House is a bit of a midden mind you but it'll get done when the rain comes back. Was out the back earlier and one of my neighbours wee granddaughters asked her what the girl was doing - the girl being me:D:D. Happy MIT :rotfl:. She's obviously a clever wee thing.
Went to DD's dancing display tonight and it was surprisingly good. DS was enjoying watching all the lassies in their skimpy costumes !! Hmm.
Working tomorrow morning and then going to a barbecue tomorrow night. Going a nice long hill walk on Sunday with a couple folks form work. I need to try and stay on the straight and narrow as much as I can as I want to lose another couple of pounds again this week.
So I hope you are all nice and happy xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Hmmm I was sure I wrote a nice big post here last night. Dementia setting in .
My nephew just got me a cracker on facebook. I had posted that I had downloaded the playlist for Bruce Springsteen as I am off to Hampden next Tuesday to see him and I cannot wait. He works for the security group there and told me that there were 10,000 invalid tickets sent out. I was googling like mad to check it out and he was winding me up . I was nearly in tears :rotfl:. Little sh*t.
Spends are not too bad. Still overspending on food as spent another £15 on Sunday at Aldi on fruit. I mean it's not even chocolate !!
Now costing me £6.10 per day for DS to go to school so went to the bank tonight and got 50 £1 coins so will hopefully be okay until he finishes up for the summer as I will get £1 coins as I go along as well.
I have £10 to pay for a sponsor tomorrow but it was for the hospice my Mum was in so I do not grudge 1 penny.
I had a great weekend. Friday was garden day and DD's dancing display at night ( which was actually really good). Worked Saturday morning and finished garden in afternoon, then went to a barbecue with a group of workmates. I read all their tarot cards which was a laugh and we had champagne aplenty to celebrate my wee friend's remission from cancer. Was a great wee night. I even made DD and I walk home to save on taxi fares. Then went a 7 mile hike yesterday with my walking buddies and ended up in what can only be descibed as a wee bit of heaven. Was well worth the climb. So all in all a lovely weekend xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hi mit sounds like you had great weekend, mine was ok , did you get your blood results back yet?0
-
Life is good, you really have that balance just right.Trying to shift that debt!0
-
SBO I do have it just right I reckon I just wish the debt would hurry up and go. I could pay it off quicker but it would mean that I would have to forego my life balance and I am not really prepared to do that.
Kitty my bloods got an incorrect label put on them to the lab so I need to get them done again *sigh*
Just been asked if DS and I want to head to the sun next May with a crowd of friends and I am really tempted. It will be booked directly through the hotel and then cheap flights. Very very tempting as I have not had a proper holiday in years.
Just spent ages making a quiche from a Slimming World recipe and it was probably quite expensive as well. Both kids were waiting on it coming out the oven as it smelled yummy and both said eew and refused to try it :rotfl:. Oh well, I thought it was okay and I will eat it for lunches at work. Weans !!
Spent £17 today. £10 on sponsor money I owed, £5 on a video of DD's dancing display and £2 for eggs for said quiche so not too bad.
I hope you are all well and the sun is shining for you as it sure isn't here xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Evening folks. Another cheeky wee 3lbs off tonight so now at 2st 8.5lbs
lightest I've been in years. DD was throwing out an almost new pair of trousers last night and I told her to pop them in my room and I would eventually get into them. Tried them on last night for a laugh and thought they wouldn't go by my knees. Well what a shock when I got them on and NEARLY got them fastened. So pleased. Will be even more pleased when I actually get that zip up.
Anyway moneywise I am skint again despite the £600. I really need to reel in my spends but everything keeps going wrong. My phone is playing up so I bought new phones tonight. Now I could have got a wee cheap one but I vowed a while ago that I would no longer buy cheap but get what I wanted at the best price I could so I got 2 cordless BT phones in ASDA for £32. I also needed shower curtains as mine are ancient and I just cannot get the stains out of them any more. DS's shoes burst and I bought him a cheap pair from ASDA as he only has 2 weeks of school until they break up for summer. So all necessary purchases but along with a few bits and pieces of food I was £89 in ASDA tonight .
Never mind I will get there I am sure. On the other hand I got the whole series of game of thrones and hunger games onto my kindle for free from my friend in work so it's not all bad5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Just plod on if you want a holiday and it extends your dfd by six months is it really a deal breaker?
Look at me, I am going to pay a lump sum off and then I will be looking to really reel in my debt free date. Something will come up.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
