Well he seems to have taken a slight turn for the better. We'll see what happens
Went to Aldi and bought some shopping and some flowers for my mum. I was going to try and give up fizzy juice but ended up buying some as I will end up buying it in work and it costs a fortune in there. I think I will wait until I am 100% back on healthy eating before I try and give the juice up as well. I spent £18 and I have given DS his lunch money for the week so my total spends for this week is £76.28 . £20 was on MacD's for lunch the other day but I had decided that lunches of any description were to come out of my shopping budget so I will need to suck it up. DD and I have written a menu until Friday with food that I have got in already and we are going back to the slimming club on Wednesday so we will shop accordingly for next week. One problem with eating healthily is the expense but I need to get my weight down and keep my IBS under control as my life is very miserable when it is not controlled as this week has shown. So we will go through our recipes and get cooking some lush food and all get fit and healthy whilst we do it.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Hi Mit
I have been down too, but am trying to get the husband on board with the budgets and then will have somene to help me along with it all.
Good to hear your kids are helping you out a lot. Cleaning up makes you feel so much better, enjoy.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
SBO I hope you will start to feel more like yourself soon xx
But your comment re kids helping me a lot made me lol as they are both lazy gits and I need to roar to get anything done round here. They are improving but I don't know how many times I've said 'I'm not your bloody slave I'm your Mum' or 'why is this jacket hung so tidily on the floor' etc etc I asked DD the other day if the 4 pairs of shoes lying in the hall were for the bin and she said yes so guess where she found them.Told me I was a psycho - cheeky biatch :rotfl:.
Spent another tenner in ASDA today as needed some things for tonights curry and some fruit but because I am really starting to watch my spends again I am really shocked at just how much I spend on wee bits and pieces when I pop into the shops. It has got to stop. I have meals until the weekend and I will sort out what I need for next weeks food and buy just what I need. My kids are teenagers though and are used to helping themselves . Oh well another wee chat with them needed obviously.
Back at work today and new folks came round where I sit. OMG they moaned so much I was ready to run away. No matter what anyone mentioned one of them had an issue with it. Now I am 47 and I'm the youngest . God's waiting room.
Next door neighbours caught another mouse today . Traps are down again but I have swept everywhere and no signs of any in here. We have stiffed rags into the space we reckon they cam in and will get expanding foam asap and sort it out once and for all. Fingers crossed5 Year plan. x0 -
Princess I put wire wool down last time but am not sure where they got in this time. Been a week now so am hoping no more
No spend today. Not too bad a day in work. I was training all day so easy peasy.
I visited my friend's Dad today and he looks a good bit better. He is still exhausted and not eating but can at least talk now a bit. So sad to see him like that.
I am beyond tired tonight as I just couldn't sleep last night as I convinced myself I could hear mice again . So a nice early night for me tonight I reckon5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hope you manage sleep tonight

Uck at mice. Where did all the older folks at work come from? It sounds like a really crap bus trip xTrying to shift that debt!0

Slept like a log last night Princess
. Went to bed at 10pm ( couldn't even stay up for Big Brother which is saying something) and was asleep by about 10 past and slept right through until 6.30 this morning when my alarm went off. Was fab-u-lous
:D. The mice could have tap danced on my a$$ and I would not have noticed.
SBO I don't really like old people so I am struggling :rotfl:. They moan and moan and moan. This is sore, that is sore !!!!!! it's doing my head in. I've applied for another job so we will see what happens. Otherwise I will wither away and die. I go for lunch and tea with 3 of these guys and I am stunned at their behaviour, One of them was in their seat for 5 minutes and did a risk assessment as his back was sore . He'd only sat there for 5 mins so how could he assess it in that time. We had our first team meeting today and it was an eyeopener :rotfl:. We'll see how things go though and I'm just not getting involved.
No spend again today. Went back to slimming club and put on 5lbs  Greedy cow that I am. I started in September and I am back to the weight I was 4 weeks after I started. So I am going to be angelic :A and get this weight back off again and be the woman I want to be.
I have managed to get a days overtime for Sunday. So I will do 3 hours on Saturday in cleaning job then whole day Sunday and get that at end of the month. I'm very pleased as I will clear over £100 for the one day and my CC will get that when I get paid. It's going down !!!

Unfortunately I have a water rates bill I need to sort first!
You will be in the tens before you know it.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Oh I hope so SBO. But I cannot wait until I am in single figures. I will have a party and my mates and I will guzzle the box and 8 bottles of white I have chilling
.
No spend again today  Go me!! Not spent anything since Sunday. I need to shop tomorrow though as it is getting a bit mother hubbardish now and DS is moaning.
Will be 6 months next week since my Mum diedI can't believe it's that long. Sometimes seems like forever and then it feels as if it was yesterday. Strange feeling.
Phoned CSA today to see what had happened to this super duper new payment I was allegedly to receive. Not had a penny since last May. Guess what ?? Surprise, Surprise he hasn't complied and no money yet again. I just laughed but TBH it's not really funny and he is an absolute !!!!! for not maintaining his children. It's only 1 child he has to pay for now as DD is working. Makes me sick that for 12 years he has gotten away with paying very little but hey ho they are great kids and no thanks to him.
DS has surprised me as he has been getting his prelim results and he has done much much better than I expected. He hardly lifted a book and has a mixture of A'S,B'S and C's. He failed his physics but only by 2 points so I am delighted with him. He wants to be a network administrator ( geek lol) and he excels in computer studies so fingers crossed he will manage to do what he wants.
Hope you have all had a great day xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
