  • Thanks guys. Went to a wee ceremony tonight at the hospice. We were asked to sponsor lights on the tree.Very sad but I am not going to attend any more of these things as they really pull me down and I don't want to be down. So I will grieve in my own way from now on
It was so so cold as well and we are just starting to heat up now. Wee cup of tea and jammies on mind you.

Had a nice wee afternoon shopping with my DD and managed to get a couple of gifts for my wee old aunties. I'm getting there slowly but surely. Deciding what to buy is part of the problem. Is everyone else all organised?

    Hi MIT

Sorry about your friend. Its hard to understand sometimes why life is so cruel :(

It may not be a bad idea to give the hospice gatherings a miss for a while as im sure you must get pulled in by others grief at a time when you have enough of your own

Im glad im not the only one who buys presents for others then realise I like it too much myself and keep it ;)

  • well I have cleaned the grand total of nothing yet BUT I am a very excited and happy bunny cos Bruce Springsteen is coming to Hampden on my birthday next year and I am beside my self with excitement :j:j. He is the best artist I have ever seen in concert and I didn't think he would ever be back so woohoo woohoo woohoo. Can you tell I love love love him and he has the best a$$ I have ever seen in a pair of jeans :o:rotfl:. Going to Bon Jovi as well so a great wee summer in store for me :D.

Going to order tickets for the ballet as well for DD and I as a wee extra for her Christmas. We will love it I'm sure. Now none of this is moneysaving but I really need some things to look forward to so I am justifying the spend.

Getting there with the Christmas pressies so it;s all good. Feeling a lot more upbeat now. I gave myself a royal kick up the a$$.

Tomorrow we find out what treatment my friend needs so we will just have to wait and see.

  • Angry MIT tonight. Ordered a gift for my son at end of October and it hasn't arrived yet. I have contacted the company for my money back but no luck. I have now ordered the item from Argos. was out of stock there originally, and can pick up tomorrow. Companies like that put you off of online shopping. I am furious. Item was £85 . I'm going to contact VISA and see how I stand with them. I feel as if I have been robbed to be honest.

Thank goodness it's the weekend. Got the tree down from the loft but then cant be bothered to put it up. I am so not in the mood for Christmas. Being a bit bah humbug.
