Hi M-I-T,
Can you order some for me! I havn't a clue what to buy this year.
Everyone seems to have everything and it doesn't seem like Christmas giving vouchers/cash.
Glad you're getting a break from work - i've no days left this year.
Thinking of you

Hi Momum I'm the same. I hate giving vouchers but one of my friend's kids only want cash. They have everything so they like the money so they can buy bigger items. Makes it easier for me as I just get money cards and a sweet for them and voila. I stopped buying most of the adults years ago but I still have a few to get. One of my most expensive gifts was always my Mum but I will buy her a beautiful holly wreath this year instead. I actually just ordered 2 LED snowmen for her and Dad's grave. I don't normally allow anything on the grave as she hated that but my Mum was Christmas mad so for a couple of weeks I will have it decorated
.
My juice from my drinks cooler is lovely and cool surprisingly . Both beds just about ready for sleeping in and the majority of the old ones have been taken to the dump. I was absolutely mortified with DD's as it was ancient and I ripped it getting it through the gate. I looked like a right mink dropping it off.
I bought loads of sweets etc for guisers ( scottish word for trick and treaters) but have only had 2. Bit of a manky night mind you.
I was feeling a bit sorry for myself earlier as felt that sometimes I don't achieve much. This came about because my young cousin, who is a single mum with 1 child, has just bought a brand new 2 bed semi detached house. She runs about in a wee sports car and holidays abroad every year. Apparently she has saved hard to get the house and is doing a part exchange but I looked into it and due to my debt there is just no way I could manage it as I would have to buy a 3 bedroom. I'm really happy for her but yet another reason to get annoyed at myself for running up all this debt.:mad:. Never mind, my ship will come in some day

Dear fellow MSE'rs I have a confession to make.
:o:o:o:o
I bought a new car. So excited. Not going to feel guilty at all as I really really need a car. I bought a micra so no road tax, cheap insurance and much more economical in petrol. It is bright red and I am very excited. Am away out now for a wee freebie overnight stay with friends and mrs Absolut ( on special in ASDA)

Had a grat night last week but was ill for 3 days afterwards
. It really wasn't the drinking to be honest but it looks like I am suffering from really bad IBS and I am just exhausted with it. The pain is ridiculous. Been okay for last couple of days but playing up again tonight a bit.
Got my lovely new car todaybut am slightly panicking about the increase in debt. I'll get over it though
.
I've worked late a couple of nights this week and am working tomorrow morning too so the money keeps trickling in. I am not going to use the overtime money for debts but will use it for Christmas.

Hi folks. Hope everyone is well.
I am in a bit of a Christmas frenzy now :rotfl:. I'm making dinner here and my brother and family are coming over for the day. I bought table cloth, napkins, chargers and napkin holders today. Made my place cards tonight from poundland scraps ( so I'm still being frugal
) and just ba:psically getting organised. Going to write my cards soon as I am always at the last minute and I really dont want to be this year as I want to be relaxed and concentrating on the family.
My new car is fab and I love it muchly.
I'm still on healthy eating and apparently was slimmer of the month last month. I will have to go and get weighed this week but I am working late 3 nights and we have been invited to a special mass in the church for my Mum so every night is taken up this week . Never mind at least money will not be so tight.
So a new week will begin and I am still knackered from last week :rotfl:. Hey ho xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
