    another lurker saying hi

I have only read the first book and although I enjoyed it, as did OH ;) I thought better of spending my money on the other two books as I thought it would be much the same of "don't bite your lip" "he co**s his head to the left" :rotfl:

Hope your day is going well.
    February 2013 NSD - 4
  • It was more of the same lol. Many 'oh my's' etc etc but different story running through them. Welcome by the way xx

Have had a nice easy day today. I'm on reduced output at work until I get back into the swing of things so that is great as there is no pressure whatsoever on me.( for a change I may add). Not going to see mum tonight as my brother and his family are away up and my DS is with them. DD is away to her music festival so I have absolute peace and quiet for an hour or so for a change :D:D.

Already had a call from DD as her bag has burst and she is distraught. She's fallen out with her BF as he is there with his friends and did not answer her when she phoned. Honestly, I wish there was no such thing as a mobile as I would be none the wiser whereas I am all worried now that she is stuck and everyone has abandoned her.

I spent money yet again today on my lunch and really has to stop now. I checked my account and I received £14 today for tax credits instead of £63 I normally get so I assume they have taken DD off of it already. Some difference . Might need to rethink my snowball and will almost certainly have to rethink my holiday plans for next year. Oh well hey ho I should be used to my life not being easy :(. I mean where would the challenge be if it was easy?

I'm going to have a relaxing night now and just chill. Take care xx

  • I have just been thinking a bit more about the reduction in my tax credits and panic is setting in a wee bit. That's my income now down y £53per week CSA and £49 per week from Tax Credits  Thats £102 per week . I know I'm good with money but . Going to lose £13 child benefit a week too and then have £25 a month more council tax to pay. I could just cry but I'm not going to BUT :mad: !!!!!!. I need to look for a part time job :( just until I get clear of this debt.

  • Glad to hear you have the chance of some peace and quiet :jbut sorry that you will probably spend it worrying about DD and money :(.

Would you be able to fit a second job in around your Mum etc? What about a chatline? You could just read out bits from 50 shades :D Xx

  • OMG  I don't think I would be very good at that. Apparently I have quite a deep voice so would hardly be sexy :rotfl:. Actually lol'ing here at the thought of it.

You're probably right and I have too many other things on my plate just now but may need to look at it in the future. I'll just keep doing the best I can in the meantime. I'm overpaying on my minimums by about £400 per month so we can live but debt repayment may slow down a bit :(. Peed off ( just a bit though as I will find a way) :)

  • Maybe the deep voice would be a winner with some :rotfl:. Everyone went crackers for it on the make £10 a day thread after a documentary called My phone s*x secrets aired a few months ago. A few brave souls did actually give it a go and made some decent money! I've still not completely ruled it out but I'm not quite brave enough yet!!

You have done fantastically well so far with the debt repayment so don't beat yourself up too much if you need to take a breather for a little while Xx

  • I know I'm just having a mini panic. DD will be paying dig money once she starts getting paid in her new job. She's going to pay £150 per month and CSA have said my award should be sorted in July so fingers crossed that comes to a few pounds. It'll be fine I'm sure. I'm good at this
