Was just filling in my spending diary and only spent £5.20
. So used to trying not to spend at all that any spend that is not absolutely necessary gets blown out of proportion in my head

Evening all. Keep meaning to ask who has all read the 50 shades books??:o:o I have and read them in 5 days :rotfl:. In my defense I bought the first one because it has sat at the top of the kindle best seller list for weeks. It was only when I shared it on facebook that I was told how mucky it was . I've never read the likes of it but oh my they were good books :rotfl:.
I got a filling yesterday and the bill will be £41 . Grudge every penny to be honest. Spent £7 on carp again today so I need to stop it.
I designed my new kitchen last night in the hope that it will keep me motivated. I am going to price it up next. The cooker is £895 and the hood is £499 before I even start on the units or the labour . But I will save and pay cash for it. New gutters, then heating, then kitchen, then bathroom. Just a few grand :rotfl:but all required unfortunately. This all motivates me hugely to keep going as I am determined to get what I want but not to go into any debt for it.:money::money::money::D
DD off to T in the park at the weekend so DS and I going to the pictures.
Mum had a very special visitor today. Neil Lennon, the manager of her favourite football team Glasgow Celtic, popped in to see her in the hospice. The Queen is going tomorrow. Mucho excitement.

How exciting for your mum. Do you mean the actual Queen is going to her actual hospice?
When my parents were in hospital last month, Princess Alexandra visited the hospital. We didn't get a glimpse, though I did see a poshly dressed woman I imagine was a lady-in-waiting or something.
How are things going for your mum. Did she get to go to mass yet?Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
She's been twice in her bed and has managed 2 baths as they can put her on a slide board then straight in. She has no real power in her legs now so she never manages to get out of bed
. Yes it is the actual Queen but because my mum cannot get into a wheelchair it is unlikely that she will see her as all the activity will be in the grounds or downstairs. Don't think she will be too bothered anyway. Much more excited about Neil Lennon going in :rotfl:
Oh and the priest offered up the mass for mum on Sunday in the hospice so she was really pleased about that5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Evening all. Well the Queen has been and gone and Mum never saw as much as a hair on her head
. The staff tried really hard to get her to a window where she would see but because of the rain her car came right up to the door and mum's view was blocked. Never mind she still got caught up in the excitement of the day and got all the stories from the staff
.
DD and I had lunch in the hospice tonight and I also bought lunch in work today and bought sweets on the way home. Total of about £16 in spends that were entirely unnecessary . Need to get a grip !! Child benefit and tax credits will be stopping soon so I cannot afford to be wasteful. I also think the clutch in my car might be going  so I really really need to take care financially.
DD is off to her music festival tomorrow until Monday so I will be a mighty worried mum all weekend. I told her not to bother with digs money this week so she has some cash to spend. Hopefully she will buy food and not drink with it5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

ha ha on the fifty shades. Hope you enjoy. I have decided I might just want a man after all after reading that. Apparently the author was interviewed and the stories are her fantasies!!!5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
