Thinking of you MIT ((MIT))
Hope you managed to get some sleep.
The hospice will look after her very well, you don't have to worry like you do when they live alone.
As for your daughter - I think mud is the main thing for festivals - if there is no mud it is not a proper festival
She will be fine, if it was dangerous they would have cancelled it.0 -
Wakened by a text from DD at 6.30am telling me how much she hates it and she wants to come home. After speaking to her I was going to go and get her but realised there were buses coming back to Glasgow tonight and she could then get the train home here. I called her with this news but she thinks she'll just stay. How much of a prison sentence do you think I will get if I kill her ?? :rotfl:
I then phoned the hospice to see if mum had a good night and she hasn't really but she has had a wee procedure this morning regarding her catheter and hopefully this will help. Unfortunately the lovely woman in the bed next to her died this morning so we are all sad now as she was great and you get very close to everyone when you are there so often.
Anyway I hope to have a more positive day today and intend doing some housework and laundry. Unless mum is worse then I am not going to visit today as I have loads to do and want to spend some time with DS. Hopefully a NSD today but we'll see5 Year plan. Forgot I was going out tonight so it will not be a NSD today after all. It won't be expensive though as I am taking the car.

Well my girl is back, my mum is back on an even keel- equilibrium has been restored in my world
.
Spent £4.80 on my lunch today. This needs to stop as I should be taking advantage of DD and DS not needing school lunch money but what has happened is that I have spent money on my lunches instead .
Got a letter from Child Benefit today and lose DD's child benefit on 6th August. Maybe with any luck my CSA claim will go through soon and I may start getting something from the ex. Not holding my breath for that mind you.
Not much more to tell. House is full of muddy washing from DD's festival and I have 2 clothes horses full already with it. Probably take ages to get it all done. She didn't actually bring all her clothes home as they were completely ruined with the mud :rotfl:. Oh to be young again.
I spoke to my friend about the loss of all the money due to DD starting work and she said she will get me some work. She has her own cleaning business and I already do some work with the kids on a Saturday morning thanks to her. She said she can probably supply me with at least another £40's worth per week. That's great and I really appreciate it but I don't know where I will fit it in . To live I do not need any more money but I am desperate to get rid of this debt ASAP so for long term gain I may need to suffer short term pain. We'll see what happens but I need to start now with paying £6 per day which was what kids would have had for lunch if they were at school. They've been out of school for 8 days so far so I have paid off £48 and then will pay £6 per day after that until 16th Aug
.So that'll be 36 days ( as only weekdays) @ £6 so will be £216. That should help me reach my targets.
This will be on top of my other payments from part time job, CSA (ha ha) and any other bits and pieces I can scrounge together. OOOO I do love a good idea and a plan :j

Positive news about your mum and the extra job.
I have seen a few pictures on FB from friends who went to TITP and the mud looks awfull although mt friends did have fun. Glad your daughter is home safe and sound if a bit muddyFebruary 2013 NSD - 40 -
It never rains but it pours, and it did at the festival.
Hope you got the muddy washing done, its the drying of it this weather. I loathe the tumble drier!
Thinking of you and hope your mam and DD are ok in themselves. The hospice sounds like a lovely place where they work hard to keep your mum happy. Take some comfort in that. Another job? I hope you are going to have some time to yourself. xTrying to shift that debt!0 -
Evening folks. Positives and negatives today. Tears and smiles. So pretty much a normal day then
Negatives: Mum not great, quite confused and getting mixed up with days and didn't recognise my best friend of 35 years when she went up to visit her today. Now this friend used to never be out our house and visits mum weekly and has done for a number of years so this was a bit of a shock. Once she realised who she was it was fine. 2) phoned CSA and ex not even paid anything towards the arrears he owes and the change in circumstances is not due to be cleared until August now, when I was originally told July :mad:3) had meeting with regards to whether or not work are giving me a warning about my sick leave when mum was ill
Positives: My work did not give me a warning( my excellent past record and the fact that despite how difficult things have been for me I have never played the system or played the martyr worked in my favour) 2) I managed to pay £6 lunches money to CC 3) Hmmm nope only the 2 :rotfl:
I need to meal plan for next week as I am going to be skint from now until I dieso I need to get ultra organised and readjust my spends again. Oh well I am good at this ( just need to keep reminding myself or I will fold, say f*ck it and give in) so I better just get moving and get it done.
I hope everyone is well and has had a day full of positives5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
