Welcome Princess. Join in any time you want. It always amazes me when anyone reads my musings but I love folks coming in and chatting. Enjoy the books and if you cant get the other ones free let me know and I will send you a link to download them for the kindle xx

Thanks MIT, i dont have a kindle though :( I cant get used to the idea of one, i like the turning of the page on a paper book iykwim? So old fashioned for one so young :o
I will no doubt get one and wish I had done it so much earlier :D Book finished, I liked it, not sure what that says aout me :D

Sorry to hear about all the money disappearing :eek: From what I have read so far I have every faith you will manage to sort something out xx
  • I'm sure I'll manage one way or another. I may lose weight now as I won't be able to afford to eat :j. Always a positive :rotfl:. In truth though I can afford to pay everything my problem is overpaying but I will just have to do my best and snowball will just need to be adjusted if I cannot manage my current target. No biggie. It'll just take me a bit longer........or not. Who knows.

£35 earned today so paid straight off of CC :D. DD will be stopping this part time job so I am training DS up to help me out. He is delighted to be earning and it will help me out as well as I will not need to keep dishing out cash to him :D. I'll also see my friend with the cleaning business and is she has any work then I will help her and earn a bit extra there too. It'll all be fine :p.

My mum gave me £100 to help me out with the petrol costs going up to see her :D Bless. Was going to pay it straight off the CC but will hold onto it just in case I need it. Car is full of petrol though and cupboards are also full along with both freezers so we should be good for a while with no spends.

Going to get some housework done today and then head up to see mum. DS is having a friend over for a sleepover and usually this costs me a fortune but he is earning now so bought the goodies himself :D:D. I'll just pay for all the electricity they will use gaming.

DD is still at T in the park but she is not keen. I was watching Snow Patrol live on the telly last night and they were amazing. I was so envious of her being there. Texted her to say that and she had left after 5 minutes of them . These young uns just don't know how to party ;).

    Catch you all laters xx

  • I just paid the £100 off of CC. Just a temptation sitting in my account. I will have enough money and if I get a real emergency then I have my £100 Christmas savings. No brainer really.

My 0% deal for CC is not running out until about 21st September so no big panic yet to get a new deal. I should hopefully be under the £2k by then and will weigh up the costs of the transfer against the interest I will pay and take the best route at the time. Onwards and upwards chaps :D

    Hi MIT

Sorry to hear about the tax credits being reduced. We are about to lose our child benefit as DD is now 18 and off to university in September.

Well done on the overpayments. :T:j

  • Went to see my mum tonight and I'm really unsettled now. She was really agitated. Went on and on about her bath being late but didn't realise she had slept through a fire alarm and everyone had been outside and that's why her bath was late. Her lips are quite blue and her breathing was worse than usual and she was just talking nonsense.Got her settled and they will give her her morphine and a sleeping tablet and she will sleep but am worried.

Also my poor daughter is just about washed away in T in the park. Loads of pics of tents flooded and I am worried about her now too. I just want to cry :(
