Oh my gosh it's coming so quickly isn't it?! I've gone from feeling pretty organised to feeling all over the place and like I'm running out of time! I had my hair/make up trial last week and loved it! Was quite nervous beforehand but they were lovely and it turned out to be quite fun, my hair wasn't 100% but she acknowledged that herself and said she needed to order in some different bits for my hair for the day...I don't live locally so can't have another trial but I'm not at all worried about it on the day as she definitely understood the type of thing I'm after!
Still have lots of bits to make and our budget is definitely struggling now - may have to put the mini moon off

Hi i'm getting married 27th sep :j:j getting rather excited now :T and a bit nervous too Not much left to do just a few bits to buy and finalise numbers, we have a few invites to chase up yet. Good luck to all september brides not long now :dance:

Hello fellow September brides! It's lovely to read how everyone's getting on.

It's suddenly gone into turbo for us; forms to complete for the venue, final consultation with hair/make up guru, seating plans, beer to be ordered, little decorative touches to be sorted out and all the other little details. Tonight we're looking at cobbling together some escort cards.

Hen and stag dos are next and I'm really excited to be seeing all my friends, I haven't seen some of them for years and it'll be brilliant to catch up with them. I'm having an afternoon tea for my hen do and feel really sorry for my OH who's off for a whole weekend - guess who gets to catch up on some much needed sleep that weekend :rotfl:

Hi everyone hope your all getting on well with your wedding prep just thought I would offer some advice if you haven't got your plans for your hen do yet or you know someone looking to book one soon.

Don't use eclipse/redseven had a really bad experience with them. It ruined my hen do. I had a weekend away to London booked a few people had to drop out at the last minute due to a death of a relative and another with a husband very ill in hospital both had to lose their money which I thought was ridiculous. We went ahead anyway and ploughed on minus a few people. When we got to the restaurant that had been booked for us they knew nothing of the booking hadn't heard of the company and said if we wanted to eat there we would have to pay for this ourselves. Very upset and confused we were unable to contact the company as they only work mon - fri 9 - 6pm no way of letting them know what had happened. So we decided to attend the next event planned for us a nightclub entry again the same happened. I currently have a complaint in with the company and they are looking into what happened and will get back to us. I found this all very stressful upsetting and very expensive as we had to pay to so other things to salvage the weekend. Please don't have the same experience as me.

Things are falling into place here just got to finish the name places, make the table plan, assemble the table centres and thats about it I think! 17 days to go!

Eek, it's getting close now! I went to the Bobbie Brown makeup counter yesterday and had their free 45 min wedding makeover/trial. I really liked it so I bought nearly everything. Was expensive but I get to keep everything, unlike if I pay a make up artist to come do it for me. The woman was excellent actually, I don't really wear make up at all, so it turned into a start-from-scratch lesson, with loads of helpful tips and I was there just over an hour.
And she said I can come back anytime and ask more questions if I get stuck, and booked me in for a free refresh appointment in 2 weeks, 1 week before the wedding, to see how I'm getting along, I just need to practice putting all the stuff on my face now!

Just been to the flower market and ordered tons of flowers as I'm doing my own, not really got a clue what I'm doing but the YouTube videos don't look too hard...
