Anyone for September 2013?

Evening,

We have arranged a meeting with our Venue Tomorrow to discuss the Wedding etc.

I haven't been told to bring anything, does anybody know what to expect and what I should bring?


I was going to make a rough running order of the day and what we have planned??

Hi bigtel, how are the plans coming along?

We have had a couple of meetings with our venue now, the first they went through the general order of the day and asked us any questions, rough numbers etc

My advice would be to take along a list of any questions you may have, I took along an A4 sheet full of questions and still forgot some that I had email over after the meeting lol!

Pretty much done everything thanks, just need to finish making the center pieces and box things up for the day and gifts.

Trying to think of something nice to buy my fiancee but can't think what!

I had emailed a few little things since last year but I've wrote them down to confirm.

Just trying to put together a rough plan of the day to see if anything jumps out

Well...........7 weeks on Friday and nowhere near ready!!

Im sure it will all be ok on the day though!

What have you left to do?

We sent our invites out last week although I asked with the Save the date last year could they make it as we have one family coming from Northern Ireland and one from Italy so I needed to know!

We designed them ourselves with my fiancee doing the drawings and my bro who is a graphic designer creating them and got them printed...







Just finishing off the evening invites as she had done a drawing themed for each invite, evening invite, order of service etc

Hi all, how are we doing? Not long now

We have most things sorted now, well, bought/ordered anyway! It's just all the making/putting things together side of things now!

OH is a carpenter and is making our postbox and a booth for our DIY photo booth. He has also made a jigsaw puzzle, we are going to use this as our guest book. Guests take a piece of the puzzle and write their message on it then put it in a box, when we are back from honeymoon we are going to put the puzzle together and frame it, I love it, it has our names and wedding date in the middle

Had a dress fitting the other week, gutted that its still a bit tight despite dieting and gym so its being taken out and I have another fitting in 3 weeks.

It's my hen do in a couple weeks, we are off to Cardiff and that's about all I know,my sister has planned it all, I didn't even know where we were going til she slipped it out the other week lol!

How's everyone else getting on?

I've already had my hen and fianc! has had his stag.

Just got last few things to sort then we are set.

Hi Disney, we're date buddies! I think I'm mostly organised, got a hair and make up trial on Monday which I'm a bit nervous about (What if she paints me like a clown!). I've had my hen do and Mr. Magpie has his on Saturday, so plenty of time for eyebrows to grow back and marker pen to fade

I'm making my own wedding cake and doing my flowers so I'm starting to plan the logistics for that.

We're also moving house the week after the wedding so I'm knee deep in boxes!

Hi Dizzie.

I've got make up and hair on the 15th which Im fairly nervous about too. I'm sure we will both be fine though it is their job after all.

Wow your doing a lot of things yourself. We now have everything for table decorations and my mum and I are doing our favours so going to make them the week before.

Moving house ... Blimey ur organised. Actually we plan to put our house on the market when we get back from honeymoon.

Does everyone feel its coming around quickly now?
