Hi. I bought M & S cardigans for my littleone who is in Nursery last year and found that they faded quite quickly. Any suggestions where else to try please?
Life's too short for wasting on ifs and might have beens...........
  • I know this is not a shop offer, but I have just seen some great deals on eBay. I have what I need now, but if I needed black trousers or blue skirts then I'd have taken these.

Girls 2-3 years and Girls 3-4 years

    Ebay Items

  • It's payday Friday:j:j

Does anyone know what offers , if any, are still on.

I need boys trousers aged 12 and aged 15 but I don't want Tesco as those trousers have the metal clip/hook thing and they are always falling off. They can't be sewed back on so it's a waste of trouser especially as the trouser itself is perfect.

I want trousers with a button
Capital one was £1000.00 now £0.00:j
    Barclaycard was £250.00 now £190. 00
Asda credit card was £500.00 now £0.00:j
Aim to be credit card free by December 2012... Mostly done

If anyone else still needs school ties I can recommend Digby & Co neckware - sorry I can't post a link on here because I'm a new user but their website is www . digbyties . co . uk (without the gaps)

Their infant ties (on elastic) start at £1.39 - P&P is 90p for first item and 20p for each one thereafter so if a few people get together it's really cheap. They have lots of designs in stock, were delivered within 2 working days and the quality looks as good as anywhere else (although they've yet to be "4 year old" tested).

Don't know what it's like in other areas but there are only 2 shops local to me that sell school ties for my son's school and they are charging £5.00 and £4.50 so quite a saving - just thought I'd share - every bit helps :)

Thanks mel77. I wish I had know about this Tuesday before shelling out £4.50 for a very small tie on a piece of elastic. I will defo bear in mind if and when she needs another tie though. It's shocking how much mark up they put on things in these schoolwear shops!!

  • Saw these instore at The Range today - advertised on special offer from £40 down to £10. Also online but P&P is an additional £4.95.

Have bought quite a few Regatta school coats in the past and always impressed in the quality & how well they wash.

These ones also have foldaway hoods.

You can get replacement metal clip/hooks to sew on, think Tesco sell them in the needlework section (funny, that). I like the Tesco trousers, but have never had a problem with clips falling off.
  • Does anybody know where I can get a plain book bag from? DD school are insisting that no rucksacks etc are taken in but the company who are providing the school book bags are way behind and cannot supply them for another couple of weeks! S what are we supposed to do? I would just like to buy a plain navy one if possible and forgo the school one altogether but I haven't seen them anywhere. Does anyone have any ideas please? :D

If you have a Wynsors shoe shop near you, they sell plain book bags for around £2.
