Hope nobody minds me starting this thread - I know it's a bit early but I have two kids to kit out for school this year so would rather get started. I thought it would be good if folk could add any deals/offers on uniform items.
At the moment BHS have 20% off school dresses and shorts. The discount comes off automatically.

there is also a code for £5 off £25 spend here and free delivery on all orders over £10

Thanks, it's never too early -or do I mean late...? 2 kids came home last week with holes in trousers and another with too short trousers. I was looking in Tesco but they hardly had anything yet, so this saves me a traipse around the shops, thank you.0

Hi, sorry to hijack the thread but our school had just changed to purple
(after i'd bought enough cardi's and jumpers for 2 years!!!)
If anyone sees purple cardi's, jumpers or sweatshirts could you add to the thread and i'll keep checking.

I was keeping an eye on Tesco too - I think it was the year before last they had multiple codes working at the same time and I got shirts, polo shirts, trousers and even leather kickers for less than £40!0 -

I cant remember having ever seen anything purple? You will probably have to go to the proper uniform shop or buy from the school? In my experience, getting stuff through the school is cheaper than the uniform shop.
good luck, will post if I find anything purple....:heart2::heart2::heart2: I LOVE MY BEAGLE! :heart2::heart2::heart2:0 -
Hi,I can recommend Sainsburys for primary school uniform.
I get my son trousers and cotton jumpers(burgundy) 2 pound each. There good quality and wash very well. They seem to have uniform in all year round.
I have also bought Tesco sweattop style jumpers 2 pound theyve been good.
The BHS basic school trousers 3.50 are very good too.0 -

Sainsburys for me too I kitted my two out for nursery they wash well and last well. They are still wearing the things they got for starting in September, mind you they only go 2 1/2 hours each day but are still great quality.0 -
Ooh I might try Sainbury's next term then. I got pinafore dresses at Tesco (the most expensive ones) and while they've washed beautifully and still look generally good one of them has started to fray under the arms, I think because they used such a tiny seam allowance, very annoying! but thankfully the one that has gone is the one I left the iron on too long last month - lovely iron shaped mark on the back:o so not the end of the world.
I got Sainbury's summer dresses (2 for £8) with the extra 25% off in the holidays and they are really nicely styled.0 -
