School Uniform and clothes deals thread

Hi, haven't posted on this website before, but I saw this and decided to pass it on, so sorry if I've posted in the wrong section etc.

Sainsburys branches that don't normally sell clothing, but do seasonally have reduced all their school uniform to either £1 or £2.

An egsample being boys 3 pack of shirts were £6 now £1. It's not physically marked down so not obvious, but it's definitely at the reduced price.

Was in my local Sainsburys last night and a woman i know who works there informed me that all the school uniforms were reduced.
They are marked full price but they scan at -

3 Pack Of Shirts - £1
3 Packs Polo Shirts - £1
School Socks - £1
Trousers - £2
Twin Pack Of Jumpers/Cardigans - £2
Plimsoles - £1

Dont know if its all the stores as my local is quite a small store but worth a look if your in.

I spent £15 and got enough shirts, cardigans , tshirts and skirts for next year - sad i know

I was thinking about doing the same thing, it's sensible not sad. Were the shirts/t-shirts boys, girls or the unisex ones?

I got the girls shirts and the unisex tshirts and my friend got the boys shirts. The 2 packs were still scanning at full price though.

It maybe store speciffic as i bought my daugters plymsols in there last night and they were full price £4.00

My local Sainsburys stocks uniform all year round so i dont know if that could be the difference.

I think i'll phone them and ask!

Hi All
One of my 1st posts. I hope it has not already been posted I did look but could not see it.
I was in Tesco's Bridlington yesterday and they have packs of boys and girls long sleeved shirts 3 pack reduced from £7 to £2 white and blue. Shorts sleeved 3 pack of boys and girls shirts reduced from £6 to £1.50, Pack on 2 long sleeved t-shirt tops £1, 2 pack of school shorts £1, Also polo shirts reduced I think they were about £1-£1.50 but cannot remember as I was not buying those.

Picked up a load of stuff tonight for £1 each - plimsolls, packs of ankle socks, packs of knee length socks, girls trousers. They had loads of sweatshirts and packs of PE tops as well as skirts and boys trousers.

I also picked up boys boxers- 3 pack and 5 pk socks for £1.25- bought in large sizes too to put away, always need these essentials.

d to 28p!
