Just found out our school is letting the children wear plain polos shirts this year so just wondering which supermarket out of these 3 would be the better quality - m&s, tesco or Asda??? I was thinking m&s but reviews online say different. Thank you very much.

I find Sainsburys to be the best for quality. Asda are ok but they and Tesco seem to be much bigger and wider than Sainsburys and they don't seem as good when washed a few times. I'm unhappy with M&S at the moment after buying emergency ones near the end of the year and one falling apart at the seams almost instantly. I've always bought mainly Sainsburys and will keep doing so I think especially when there is a 25% deal on.

M&S sizes can be really out and I have found sometimes they come up really, really small, I prefer Asda over Tesco for quality & comfort. Also if you are buying for a girl, Tesco did not do the scalloped collars.

However, if you have a Morrison near you they are doing pack of 2 polo shirts for £2.50, the quality is good on a par if not better than Asda.

Also I stopped buying Tesco boys trousers because the seams kept splitting.

Tesco do now have scalloped collar polo shirts.

I prefer Tesco to Asda for polo shirts, they are softer and are easier to iron.:)

asda wins for me in price and quality - thought I'd splash out on M&S one year only to have ti all fall apart!

I got sainsburys cardis last year as asda didn't stock our colour but they really faded

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet. Aldi is bringing out school uniform from tomorrow, skirts and trousers for 1.50 each, 2 polo shirts 1.25. At these prices it's worth a punt.
