Mogs - just go for it tomorrow - sell yourself. Looking good! You can wing it with the applications - the more you use them the better you get. I find with excel, word, etc the more I use them the more confident - familiarity!

Love and hugs to all of the rest of you. Feeling a wee bit tired tonight and not doing the replies. But I care. Have just noticed penine-man not posting- is he OK?

    Hello :hello:

Ohhh been working all day out and about in the City and then this evening doing reports. Now I sit in front a well deserve glass of red!

Been very good with money. I was tempted to have a nice sit down lunch today but decided to have a long walk instead and nibbled on a banana and and apple. I did feel deprived :( but now I'm glad I resisted the temptation, knowing it was good for my pocket and my health :)

I have bought some organic sweet potatoes and will cook them tomorrow. Usually I boil them and eat them as a side vegetable, but I saw a thread about them a while ago so will do a search and look for a different way to cook them. Tonight it's wholegrain rice, mushrooms and parmesan, plus fruit...:p

Have a good evening everyone! :)
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

evening all - yet another day of dd's convalescence - honestly I am almost looking forward to going back to work next week.
We picked up her best mate from school for tea and had veggie pizza, tortilla, garlic bread and fresh juice. Well the friend scraped all the veggies off her pizza and stuck the cheese back on before eating it. DD is veggie so i asked the friend what vegetables she did like for next time and she looked blank and then said .... er ... are chips a vegetable? She ddin't know what a cauliflower is or a courgette let alone anything exotic like a squash. I often wondered where tv programmes got these vegaphobes from but they really are out there.
dd earned £1.50 today for cleaning all the oven racks - I love child labour :)
exdh got my dvd player to work so there is now no excuse not to do my yoga every morning like what i promised myself three months ago :(

good luck with the interview moggins and even if you don't get the job it will be good practice :)
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

    Hi everyone.

Oh no I can't believe I missed all the 80s talk yesterday as that was my era! I used to take my jeans in so that they were really tight, unfortunately I would sew them by hand and sometimes I'd sit down in them and they'd split! I used to wear stiletoes that matched my bag, belt and earings and I went through a phase of wearing jumpsuits, we all looked like the Nolans! :rotfl:
I had my haircut today in a bob style and when the girl finished I said 'Oh I look like the girl from Swing Out Sister', of course she didn't have a clue who I was talking about as she was born in 1981. I'll stop there otherwise I'll go on and on about the 80s.

I've been quite busy over the last two days, doing stuff at church, housework, general chores etc. Tonight I went to see DD2's teacher and she said some really nice things about her, so I was really proud of her. While I was there, DH took the two girls to a music festival as DD1 was playing her sax in the orchestra, so he also had a proud parent moment :D
Well I'm in w**** tomorrow so I must try to get to bed earlier.
    Have a good evening.

    Moggins Good luck for tomorrow!
