Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!0 -
I was recently looking for little bags online and saw there was cone shaped bags that can be tied with ribbon at the top. Can be used as favours, gifts, kids party treats etc. I think they would be good at a sweet stall - people might buy them as gifts and also could pre order them for kids parties, or with nicer stuff (eg chocolate hearts) as wedding favours?0

Fancy some cola cubes now. It seems to be the sort of thing that despite being skint people will still treat themselves to. A freestanding sweetie stall opened up last year in a local shopping centre, it did so well they have now moved into a shop. They have lot's of jars of sweeties. loose thing's more aimed at kid's & now seem to be stocking some american sweeties and stuff.
Not that I''m an expert, I haven't been in since I dropped a jar of cherry lollipops just as I'd loosened the lid, scattering dozens of lollipops all over the floor:o lady was lovely but I was mortified, sent oh in the other week for some sweeties for me.Booo!!!0 -
We do our local market every week and from experience would recommend you sell the sweets packed up---someone tryed selling them loose and in the summer the wasps were bloody nightmare--he had the sweets in boxes with lids on but the wasps used to swarm round his stall...we have a lady selling sweets in cello bags now but her problem is keeping the stuff out of the sun as the boiled sweets tend to get hot and stick to the bags, so you need to be able to keep yours in the shade! Good luck with it!I might be crazy but I'm not stupid....0

Mmmm cinnamon balls.
I'm definitely sweet shopping next chance I get!
Don't forget to include in your start-up costs that you'll have to quality test all the stock!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Have just spent the afternoon mooching around the local wholesalers and registering for their card.
Lots of jaw breakers, chew bars, sherbert dips, flumps, shrimps etc but very little in the way of jars.
And they don't sell scales
- still need a good hunt around for a deceent set and the large sweet jars.
But all in all positive day!Sealed Pot Challenge No. 2860 -
