Mortgage Exit Fee Lender Table

I have just reclaimed £100 from Halifax.
I did not have to fill in a form, they agreed my claim and are sending me a cheque from just one 2 minute phone call !! Unfortunately they didn't offer me interest on the fee as stated in the article but not to worry as I only paid it 5 months ago.
Thanks !0 -

Was this about the same as yours?

hi
Does anyone know what the exit fee's was for coventry building society in september 1999 mislaid my doc's.
many thanks0 -
Well Martin - You have done it again:-
Halifax completed the process while on the phone, 10 minutes and they had confirmed owed monies £60.00
Natwest completed the process while on the phone, 10 minutes and they had confirmed owed monies £140.00
Just like a banker £10.00 per minute x 20 minutes = £200.000 -

Please can anyone tell me the history of Mortgage Exit fees for the Cooperative Bank?
Thanks.0 -
Re the nationwide, they only seem to be dealing with queries by writing a letter therefore the telephone number is not necessary and wastes a bit of timehappiness is being able to have one more drink0

The 0845 phone number given for Alliance and Leicester redirects you to 0870 901 1001, which does eventually get you through to someone who can help.
The Woolwich / Barclays number was a doddle. They immediately worked out what we were owed and will pay it direct to our account within 5 working days - result! :j0
