I can honestly say that halifax handled my husbands complaint well.He recieved a confirmation of his complaint within 2 weeks and he recieved an offer 7 weeks after his complaint was sent.A cheque followed 5 days after the offer letter.Fingers crossed for you.[/QUOTE]
Congratulations on your win....was yours for mortgage too?
I'm hoping we here something within the next few weeks. I can't stand waiting. Still convinced that it will be a rejection though

Still no bloody news....my head is done in. Looks like Halifax have started to reject many claims now so not feeling confident anymore but I suppose that's the story of my life. Oh well........
Anyone had any recent success for Halifax mortgage insurance claims??

Keep at them my 8 weeks was up Wednesday rang them today and a letter has been sent out on the 16th i asked them to read it, my TMPP has been upheld but only the PPI element for now, i asked about Critical illness and life insurance element as that was part of the complaint to and they said they will look into it and get back to me. £5800 ppi refunded :j0 -
So they sent your letter out on the 8 week anniversary exactly? When did you count 8 weeks from? When you sent the initial letter or the date on their first response?Defaultless as of 12th Sept 2012
