Halifax - Feet Draggers?

Hi, does anyone know if Halifax are still supposedly auto paying redress of ppi for genuine claims?
Also - has anyone had success earlier than the 8 week time period with them???
Just curious as waiting is not my thing!

I got the offer back from them within the 8 week timescale. However its taken three month and a lot of complaining to get the actual payout."You are entitled to your own opinions but not your own facts" - Arthur Schlesinger
Proud to be have dealt with my debt

i am also waiting on halifax next will will be 8 weeks so fingers crossed0

My claims are only nearing the 5 week mark so it willl be last week in May for the 8 week.
Not liking my chances at the moment for redress especially with the claims being for Mortgage Repayment Insurance and the PPI element of TMPP.
Will keep you updated.

Hi all,
Halifax are definately dragging their feet with me!
They wrote to me with a settlement figure for my credit card claim, that was at 7 weeks and I'm awaiting payment on that. However my loan ppi was up at 8 weeks on Friday 27th April and I have not heard a thing! When you call Halifax ppi helpline no-one is able to advise or update me. Its so frustrating
I have complained online via email, but suprise suprise no-one has contacted me!
I hope you have better luck with yours, than I seem to be having with mine....0
