I take it it's off now?
Darn wish they had gave us some more notice.
Looks like one or other didn't play ball - still offline @ 09:00 Friday.

There are a few people asking so I thought I would bump this thread.0

Sorry folks, CW Client will be unavailable until Tuesday 22/5/07 at the earliest now - Orchid have a problem with an ISDN 30 circuit and are now waiting on BT to fix it.
I (or Toby himself) will update this thread as soon as it's available again.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
I thought BT were droping the ISDN service?
Maybe not: http://www.btbroadbandoffice.com/help/isdn
May be just the consumer one I read.
Tuesday 22 May 2007 20:20, still not on line.

Well what was going to be a day looks like it will be a week.0 -
The ISDN 30 issue is now sorted but, for some reason, the NAT on the firewall is now not passing external traffic to the right place - so external (end-user) access to the CW Client server remains unavailable.
However, diallers can now call home again - but they will only pick up their current programs.
Any end-user who needs to make an alteration to their own program which really cannot wait until the issue with the firewall is resolved (which is not expected to be until Tuesday 29/5/07), is advised to e-mail support@orchid-electronics.com with their details (so their dialler can be identified) and the precise change required.
Orchid support staff will then make the necessary alteration(s) to the routing table and reply when complete - so that the end-user can force their dialler home again and the revised program can be picked up.
I'm sorry it's not better news but be assured Orchid are not happy bunnies either! It is hoped that the temporary arrangement will cater for those with urgent program updates and that others will remain patient.
Toby or I will post on this thread as soon as 'normal service' is resumed.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Thanks Heinz - I have had a frustrating few days to say the least....but now resolved! We have just moved house and dialler etc reinstalled and partially updated, accounts updated for 18185 etc BUT the final part of the jigsaw had not been completed as I had to wait a few days for Primus Option2 to be put into effect. Fortunately I had updated CWClient and was waiting to dial home once this (Primus) had happened - of course that is precisely when everything went on the blink! Anyway having seen your post.....the "call home" has just worked!!0 -
End-user access to CW Client is now available again (in fact, it's been available since 10:29 this morning but I've only just arrived home and found Toby's e-mail).
BTW, he promises they won't be moving offices again any time soon!Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Can anyone tell me how to get the 2 diallers I purchased on behalf of a couple of OAP's who are unable to cope with manual dialling like myself to get the Heinz programme?
I did send the email with serial numbers etc. over a week ago and received confirmation it arrived but since then absolutely nothing!0
