All those having trouble with their truffles, try adding 1/2 again of melted chocolate, as this should make it set firmer (so if you used 100g of choc, add another 50g)0

"Evil" fairy?? carlamarie??
The playpen worked will with DS1 (he was 2month old for christmas 1, 14m for christmas 2 and 26m for christmas 3 so I think it fell well with being outside the 'testing boundary' of being too young to be told off but old enough to understand (DS2 is 18m this year)
DS2 sooo wanted to put the star on top (daddy lifted him up last year) but we didn't have a table or chair high enough so he "let" me do it.
They have their little white tree for their room from Poundland last year which has lost a leg so DH has to make a base for it - I offered to buy a new one today but DS2 wouldn't have any of it.
I am LOVING this idea tho and soooooo tempted to make one.
No idea where I would get a big enough bit of felt from tho..................uh oh found some
Nanamia - glad DSiL is feeling better.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

M&S are also doing Christmassy toilet roll and boxed tissues with 'festive' foxes on. Thankfully I wasn't that keen on the design as it wasn't that cheap! I ended up getting some kitchen roll in Wilkos, £1 for 2 rolls - I bought The Snowman design (as in the Raymond Briggs Snowman rather than any old snowman!) but they also had a nice Nordic style reindeer design too if that helps anyone.0 -
Thanks moneysavingmumofone - Fred Claus followed by Johnny Depp in Chocolat helped!! Have ordered couple more Christmas DVDs from Amazon to try to keep the Christmas spirit going.
Hope your ds is not in so much pain now. I used to get ear infections a lot when I was little and my Dad used to warm a (clean!) hanky on a hot water bottle and hold it on my ear. Eventually I'd fall asleep and to me he always healed my bad ears!2015 £2 Saver #82

Had been planning to go to Exeter shops and Christmas market this week, but now the trains are under several feet of water.
Poor Exeter. Hopefully it'll be all better in a week or so!:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0
