My local Heart radio station has started playing the odd xmas song in between all the regular ones - was singing along to the Pogues in the staff car park before I got out for work!!
I also crack up every time I see the Argos advert for the sale... and afterwards the little alien man goes 'The Sale.....I've missed Christmas' in a real panic, for some reason makes me think of you nutters! :snow_laug0 -

I guess they aren't really bells...sorry poor discription by me. More like a jingle ball with holes in it? It's a pack of eight or ten...half are white and half are red...they are not too wee or too big...I thought they would look fab for with my luggage labels. I promise (providing my kids give me 5 mins peace at the weekend) that I will post a pic of a finished wrapped item...fingers crossed it looks good. They were in with the Xmas decorations, i think they are meant to hang on the tree. I'm thinking of buying some more but by the time I get back to Poundland you'll have all bought them :rotfl::rotfl:
yeah, thats the sort of bell im looking for. i have some brown tags and a "dont open till 25th dec" stamp, so your bell idea will be great to add to this!, thank you
EDIT: would love to see a pic once youve finished wrapping!**Waiting for a BIG win!**
Thank you all posters!

just popping on to say the works have their x-mas shop open online they have the tags you have been on about for 99p a pack, also have advent crakers, open a cracker a day and on x-mas eve make a nativity from the pieces you've opened think it was £3.99
They have sold out online of the crackersAfter I had found a reason to buy them! Ds already has a playmobil and choc one! I also have a little tree from Avon that the children I care for took a turn ding each day. This year I have more mindees but the crackers would help with the taking turns. Thank you.

We love feeding the birds in our garden and have several feeders and different types of food to keep them all happy. Only downside to this is what goes in, must come out again, so I am forever cleaning bird poo off the cars, the picnic table, the windows, the patio doors etc. Glittery bird poo would be funny though
And on a serious note, my heart goes out to the posters who are losing their jobs. Mr Buffy and I have been there and know how it feels, so I hope things will sort themselves out for you all very quicklyDFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -
need more help (sorry in advance) I got a free watch with my avon order this month but the strap is too thin so OH wont wear it (not a fan of watches normally but a thick strap seems to be the "fashion" lol) So Ive been googling all morning to find a black leather cuff so I can add this to the watch - the idea being that there is a gap near the watch end so I can thread the original strap through and a gap at the other end so the original strap can poke out to do up the buckle - hope this makes sense its the easiest way I can think of to describe it!
Anyway I went to a few craft stores and they only have leather straps with a buckle on which is no use as the original strap has a buckle already.
I would of normally just removed the original strap and bought the one I want but unfortunately the attachment part of the watch is only 1cm wide so really difficult to find another normal strap to fit.
I realise this is complicated to understand and Im rubbish with words anyway so hope this makes some sort of sense to someone!!!Life is what you make it.0 -
