Had a bit of a disappointing shopping trip after work today. I tried two different Poundland branches, but neither had the xmas pudding bin liners [I must have looked very strange, standing there for ages looking at bin bags lol]. Then, Lidi didn't have any of the Christmas pasta either... I did manage to get some of the coffee syrups though, so that is one good thing.0

Aww that's actually really lovely (and quite funny!).
My daughter (coming up 5) has asked if she can ask Father Christmas for 3 things as she thinks she's been really good this year! I gingerly said yes and asked what they were, "some grown up big girl books, new felt tip pens and pink smarties"I think he can stretch to that!
When my eldest DS was about 3, he asked for some roary slippers, chocolate coins & a croissant :rotfl:. Santa managed it :T0 -
Yaaay!! Discovered 2 Christmas music channels this morning! Blissmas on 372, and Christmas Hits on 378!! Excited is NOT the word!! Wooooo!!!
Thank you so much!!! Been watching them since I got back from work at 4! Making up for the fact bf is watching Kylie rehearse for tomos Strictly!!
Moneysavingmum, you are crazyyyy!! Glad you enjoyed the films, I think I am too much of a fidget to sit there for that long to watch the old films before hand! I was bad enough watching James Bond the other week and that was only just over two hours!! :rotfl:
Melon78 your daughter sounds adorbs! Ive been asking the kids in school what they would like from father christmas and one said buttons. I said chocolate buttons? He said no real buttons cos I want to learn to sew. What a cutie! I love them!0 -
Had to delete quote because it showed the spoilers lol so incase anyone is baffled this is in regards to Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2.

I'm replying in white too lol!!!!!! SPOILERS!!!>>>>>>> I said to hubby judging by everybodys reaction in the cinema that it couldn't have been the same as the book! I don't want to say much more just incase I ruin it for everyone but it was BRILLIANT! I am so glad I got to go. Wish I could go againEverything is always better after a cup of tea0 -
Mine are only little and can't write yet but I asked them what they wanted and DS said "more trucks and some sweeties" (he's nearly 4) and DD didn't have a clue and just said "want toilet" lol we are potty training
Cheap do for me this year then :rotfl:Bossymoo

Got all DS presents tonight to check what we had because I'd bought another couple of bits and had no clue how much we had. Did a running total and worked out the £150 we have spent should have come to £260 but we saved so much after all the offers so pleased.
Only his balance bike then done!
Starting rest of the presents Friday can't wait!0 -

Chirpychick-I would so go and see it again right now, totally fab.Part 1 came out just before my birthday this year (March) so hopefully the boxset will come out just before my birthday next year.
Just booked Westfields Grotto for 22nd Dec, also got a Groupon deal last week (had £8 credit so free) for sorbet, cake and hot choc for two at Westfields.Am not really a fan of Westfields as it was far too confusing and busy for me but had to go back again after we missed our slot last year due to traffic!! Bit gutting it was £11.75 inc postage this year rather than the £3 something last year!! Will be leaving extra early this year lol. Tomorrow we're going to see Nativity (first one) at the kids cinema at the request of DS then off to see the Coca-Cola truck eeeep!
*sparkle and shine*
