I found it absolutely hilarious that he has put so much thought into it but completely wonderful how he doesn't expect his Mum to spend more than £100 on his presents.
I mean I know £100 is probably more than some get but it's not like Ipad,Xbox,Iphone etc it is completely realistic and not at all OTT and I just think it is completely admirable!
And aware that he might be pushing his luck by it reaching £100 he has option C which only comes to £50 which I think is great!
The way he has done it is so matter of fact but also then stated how he really would very much prefer it if he could have the items in Option A!!! ROFL!
Have any of your children done anything like this? I wonder if people would share some of their children's "wish lists" or letters to santa (if they have been done yet!)
My 14 year old wanted paper to write a list and I told him to save a tree and email me, so he did....and marked it as high priority :rotfl:Good enough club member number 140 -
HI everyone, hope everyone's well.
Doing well on the christmas front, got some really good stuff fro poundland/world over the last week. Finally found the christmas pudding and santa bin bags. They look cool, brilliant for wrapping big pressies. Im thinking of using the santa one the deliver presents, I can put sis, bil and my three nieces and nephews all together and deliver them in style. Also got 2 sets of make your own crackers sets, sticky decorations for the windows, cupcake boxes and a cupcake stand amongst other things. Got the kiddies advent calenders from Sainsburys.
Finally bought me and my sis a xmas jumper from primani, wasn't going to get one but my sister is recovering from an operation so wanted to cheer her up. My brains whirring with what else i need to get, think i need to update my list. Not got many more presents to get.
Was going to treat myself to a christmas mag from tesco but there was so many I didn't bother. Has anyone got any suggestions for a good one???? I'd hate to waste money on one that wasn't much cop.
Gotta star the wrapping soon. I love wrapping but i've got so much to do and Ive always been such a perfectionist I dread to think how long it will actually take.March 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000 -

True to your nickname Linky
that's the same way I make palmiers - obviously it's a top secret. People can't believe they aren't shop bought. I tried to tell a couple of people how very easy they were but they weren't listening. Hey ho leaving me the queen of palmiers sssshhhhh
I love the soap balls too. Thought it quite odd tho that they mentioned d*ve soap as its the only one I've found I'm allergic too(although I am odd)
Pinksteps very best of luck for your DS tomorrow, know he's a superstar but pop on and let us know how he gets on. We will be thinking of him:)
Aaw chirpy so glad you got to go to see your film bless that bubba-that's the start of him craving to be the centre of attention! Just letting you know he's there. In a couple of weeks we'll all be able to see him:) (Is it weird that I'm really looking forward to his safe arrival? Feels like a member of my family:) And what a cute teenage emailing a list with varying options.
Melon I'm so glad you've recovered some of your Christmas cheer. What an adorable list your daughter has, sounds like Santa is going to make her dreams come true:)
Msgigglewick your little one sounds so cute too.
Juniper_Berry if you've got to be laid up and snuggled on the sofa, drinking hot chocolate and watching Christmas films/books its a good time to do it. Fingers crossed you will be recovered enough to enjoy the big event. Some of your to do list can be postponed till next year, the main thing is you are kind to yourself:)
Glad you enjoyed your marathon moneysavingmumofoneyou deserved it. Don't envy your pain and discomfort
Hope it's easing now. Take it easy over the weekend xxx
What did you think of Alty Kayandy? I popped into the market last week for some ribbon can't believe how many of the shops were closed and boarded up:( I know Broadheath has a good selection but Alty itself was a it disappointing I thought! Do you know where the market is yet you are off to? Fancied doing something festive myself. Going to an event in wilmslow tomorrow when Santa is coming with his real reindeer with my DH,DD and DGD can't wait - just know I'm going to be tossing and turning all night with excitement. DGD isn't two till Christmas week hoping she will love it:) (Maybe as much as her Nan:)The secret of Christmas

:( Dd best friend is sleeping tonight. Just had a call from her Dad to ask if she can stay here tomorrow. The house they are attached to is on fire, and the fire brigade are trying to stop it spreading through the roof
:(
I feel like crying. The family whose house is alight have a small baby and a teenage son.:(
But on a positive note they are all safe and unharmed.0 -
Hi all,
My first pressies came through the post yesterday - had OH keep asking me what was in the parcels and kept getting a 'never you mind' as there were some bits for him :rotfl:
Been really manic this week so not been able to get as much as I wanted done, am loving all your makes and bargins though!
A friend sent me a link for this site and have signed up - people nominate those who might be alone or having a hard time at Christmas and then you can send them Christmas cards to cheer them up. Think it's a really nice idea so if anyone has any spare cards and might let to join in then this is the site:

(nothing to do with me personally, just think it's a nice thing to do)
Am going to see the new Twilight film tomorrow so am happy to see good reviews on here0 -
Ooh Linky how frightening. That is my worst fear:(
Thankfully they are all safe which is the main thing. Then I start to worry about my photos probably my most precious possessions (materially speaking obviously)
I was wondering where you were thought you maybe treating yourself to an early night:) Try and get some sleep, you'll be no good to them tomorrow if they need you if you've had no sleep:) xxxThe secret of Christmas

Podperson that does sound like a lovely thing to do, spearing a little Christmas love.
I popped into a charity for the homeless in the centre of Manchester today. A delightful lady showed my husband and I around. Oh my word talk about counting your blessings. I was so humbled by what I saw. Such a lovely bunch of volunteers giving there time and so obviously there love to this very needy charity. Can you believe that in Manchester 2012 people are suffering with TRENCH FOOT? Despite the obvious hardship of the 'friends' the place had a lovely atmosphere of warmth and love -and the aroma of sausage sandwiches. Sorry rant overThe secret of Christmas
