Hi guys
Bought an elf yesterday, so planning lots of mischief for her to get up to.
Am going to get the kiddies to write their lists today, have already got their pressies so hopefully have covered all bases! DD1 wants the Lego friends riding school which we managed to get in TRU when they had 20% off, it was reduced down to £70 so only cost 50 odd pounds instead of the 90 we thought. DD2 who is 5 just says she wants everything she see's so is really easy to buy for.
Saw a trailer last night for Nativity 2, DH didn't look impressed and DD2 would never sit through it, so think I may take DD1 as a special mummy and daughter treat, I think this will be really great as very rarely get to spend any time alone with her.
Have got the kids sorted, but nothing else really, have lots of great ideas, but haven't exactly put any of them into practice.0 -

:rotfl: Just looked at the gifts nobody wants to receive and I have bought ds,dd and my Dad one.:rotfl:
I have got them all the retro phone handset, for their mobiles.:rotfl:
I always buy one novelty gift, but I didn't think they were THAT BAD
My Dad will find it hilarious when I tell him. He will agree with the article.

The fire started in the kids den, the TV caught light. Of course the kids just screamed, so instead of everyone moving away from the blaze, everyone went to see what the problem was. The Mum even went in carrying the baby.
Apparently it took hold very quickly.
I am going to ring round some friends today and try and get some clothes and toys for the kids. They were all in their pjs, and now that is all they have.:(
I really hope she was a disorganised Christmas shopper, and their presents have all gone aswell.
This is just so awful, these poor people. I really hope they get as much help as they need.

I found it absolutely hilarious that he has put so much thought into it but completely wonderful how he doesn't expect his Mum to spend more than £100 on his presents.
I mean I know £100 is probably more than some get but it's not like Ipad,Xbox,Iphone etc it is completely realistic and not at all OTT and I just think it is completely admirable!
And aware that he might be pushing his luck by it reaching £100 he has option C which only comes to £50 which I think is great!
The way he has done it is so matter of fact but also then stated how he really would very much prefer it if he could have the items in Option A!!! ROFL!
Have any of your children done anything like this? I wonder if people would share some of their children's "wish lists" or letters to santa (if they have been done yet!)
bless him, what a good kid!
my DD emailed me a list, all small things like books, dvds, cds, vouchers etc and a little note saying she doesnt expect them all but one or two would be lovely, DS wrote a note to the same effect with mainly little things on it
just catching up, did a 16 hour stint at the polling station on Thursday and spent yesterday recovering! :rotfl:
chirpychick I thought of you Thursday night and wondered if you had made it to Breaking Dawn! can't wait to see it either0 -
