Made it back in 1 piece! Did well, Debenhams had 20% sale so got a hoodie for my brother and best friends hubby. Also couple of tree presents for my Mum. Then onto Hobbycraft to get fabric to make gingerbread men with my nieces. Took a sneaky photo of some in a shop that I thought looked cute, but we can make them when they come for stay. I love Hobbycraft but need to be dragged out. I MAY even wrap some stuff tonight or write my cards whilst watching Strictly.
I feel a bit of on line shopping coming up as too many people shopping gives me a the hump!
The Sensations are £2.15 for 3 bags in Co Op and my son wokes there so I be discount too ...2015 £2 Saver #82

Anyone seen the show 'Can't Cook,Won't Cook'
I am just Can't Cook. Can't Cook :rotfl:
I set the timer wrong an over done the Mincemeat Swirls
Every time I touch the truffle mix it goes to goo in my hands
I am sticking with what I am good at. Folding, cutting and gluing card:D
Just watched Cupid Christmas on YouTube to make me feel better.
Dd is getting me some Dove Soap in town. I am just hoping grating and mixing it with water IN THE KITCHEN does constitute Cooking, and it goes OK .:rotfl:0 -
Hey guys,
Not sure if its been posted yet as I am still 10 pages behind - feel like I always am... But just wanted to update on a few things I have bought/seen that might help somebody out.
I went to Lidl and Iceland on Friday and got;
Lidl - cellophane 10m for 99p, haven't opened it but looks good
2 for £4 on christmas ribbons, great designs and all ribbons are 5 metres so I thought that was a great deal.
I did want to get the candles, 6 for £2.99 but I couldn't decide so i got none.
In Iceland - tin of Fox biscuits for £4 - bargain
box of Jacobs crackers for £2 - the 8 biscuit variety, currently £3 in Asda.
I keep looking on H&M website for those aprons, keep missing out on them. I really want on, in any variety, I have one of their aprons and they are really lovely.
I have made some felt decorations for my tree, I will take a photo and post it. Thanks to this thread it is keeping the crafting christmas side alive.0 -
I love this thread! Am determind to spend less this year and not have a huge bill in January. Have just downloaded Have Yourself a Very Thrifty Christmas from Amazon. Will let you know if it's any good!0

Got my elf on the shelf today, I haven't bought the official one because I begrudge paying over the odds because its so close to Xmas so we got a reindeer from mothercare, he has long legs and a Santa hat on looks a lot like a elf so is perfect!
Will put his hamper together for dec 1st with his elf, advent calendar, letter from Santa to tell him about the elf, Christmas pj's and a wintery book. So excited!0 -
Firstly big thank you to everyone for keeping my Christmas inspiration up
Every time it starts to lag, I just pop on here and I soon find it again!
Hoping that I will be able to share my Christmas makes for this week!
