OMO, could I also pester you for the link to make that lovely snowball? I was planning on making the martha stewart bath fizzies in the 99p shop tree moulds but I think yours look beautiful and I have a cupcake box template that could be modified[/COLOR]2024 Challenges
Live in the moment more and appreciate the small things0 -
pinksteps goodluck to your ds try the bbcshop they have both the strictly annual £7.50 & a family planner calender £5.99 think free p+p aswell
omo sorry to hear about your dd friend/neighbour great to hear they're all ok though.
quick question roughly how big are the choc mints you used for your decs? which were totally fab by the way. got some stickers from the card factory which are slightly bigger then a £2 wondered if they would be approx the right size to make some quick tree chocs decs with the kids?
love the box your soap balls in where did you find it? glad to hear something finally went well today and it looks lovely very snowball like.
if anyones looking for cheap sweets try tesco they were selling halloween themed buckets approx 80 sweets for £1.50 some of the lollies were in more themed wrapped but most of them refreshers/ fizzers ect would be ok for advent fillers/sweet jar/box gifts.this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk0 -
omo that is absolutely bloody fab!! Could you share your secret? These would look great as wee minis in my hamper!!!Life is what you make it.0

Really easy to make. Embarrassingly easy actually.

She says you can get 2 balls from one bar. But they must be small. I used 1 and a half bars for a ball the size of my fist.
If it is not big enough just add more soap flakes and water.
A sticker the size of a £2 should be fine. Haven't got £2 coin to hand( all in my savings pot:D) but the chocolates are a little bigger than a 50p.
EDIT - Am having a go at her Vanilla Brown Sugar Body Scrub tomorrow.

Moneysavingmumofone did I dream it or did you recommend an "I believe" sign to me?
Linky in your vast archive of knowledge have you come across a bare tree or twigs that I could use to hang little decorations or biscuits from? Not huge 20/30cm ish
I know you've an awful lot on and I'm in NO NO NO hurry:-)The secret of Christmas

Linky I made hand wash last year for my DS who is a mechanic of sorts so as you can imagine his hands used to get very sore working outside in all weathers covered in all sorts. It was a gentle cleanser with brown sugar, soap, almond oil etc and worked a treat. Made a daft poem about looking after his hand cos they "earnt his crust, looking after them is a must" etc. He loved it! This year he'll not be needing that in Australia more like sunscreen
