  • OMO you rock! Does it matter if you use economy soap? I have just spotted that Asda have their basics, 3 for 35p! If the smell is too plain, I have plenty of essential oils that I plan to add :)

I have lots of DIY gift ideas on my pin board here if anyone is interested in peeking

    If anyone is stuck for packaging ideas, I also have this;

Am adding to both daily, just hope I have enough time to make it all!

Just caught up on lots of pages...

OMO - sorry to hear about your friends home - hope they're doing as well as can be expected and get all the help they need.

Sorry to hear about job losses too. Hard times. I've been there and really feel for you - wish those affected lots of luck in finding something new.

Absolutely LOVE those "Made by Elves" stickers and the wrapping looks really beautiful. Can't remember who it was but you know who you are so well done you! :)

Bought some chestnuts to roast but am not really sure what to do with them. Does anyone have any tips please?!

If anyone is interested, MUA (Make Up Academy cosmetics brand, as sold in Superdrug) have a 35% discount code and free shipping on their wesbite at the mo, as posted on Grabbits. Their products are already very cheap but I find it's really good stuff so at these prices it's a steal! Bought some stocking fillers for my niece and some treats for me.

Picked up some nice boxed Stella Artois 'chalice' style glasses for just 50p in JS today. Not sure if all stores have them (think they may be left over from a promotion but were displayed on the main shelves with the Spirits and alcoholic gifts) but might be worth looking out for them if making a 'Lads Night In' style hamper or just as a stocking filler.
  • i believe the coke truck is 1pm-9pm (ish) for most places..
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

You can use any soap as far as I am aware. I just used the soap I had in the bathroom cabinet.

Will have a look at your pages now. Just wanted to answer your question first.:D

FeistyFidget, you have lots of lovely ideas pinned there - I've bookmarked it for later, thanks :)
  • OMO fabulous snow ball! and sorry to hear about you dd's friend :( hope their house isn't too badly damaged.

Sorry didn't make note but love the knitted converse! i made a pair of pugs (like uggs but with paw prints on) for my neice last year lol love little knitted booties.

Just taken my last elf order for this year.. they really have proved more popular than i imagined.. i've promised to design a girl elf for next year on top of the boy ones.. Shall get them made up during the year and sell them from August onwards i think. Along side the elf bags, wreath bits and anything else i can think of lol

I have dug out the wrapping paper i have to start wrapping the kids pressies this afternoon.. not one present got wrapped as i fell asleep instead oops (joys of migraines) oh well lots of time yet!

MsGigglewick, I absolutely love your elf, and I have been looking everywhere for a knitting pattern to no avail, is this a pattern you have created yourself? - if so you're very clever - if you did, are you selling it, I would so like to knit one for my work friend who has a son, and is starting the elf tradition in their house???
