OMO I hope the fire isn't too bad, and glad they are all safe. DS's best friend had a bad house fire in the middle of the night - luckily they all managed to get out, but because it started from outside near the kitchen, where there isn't a smoke alarm, it took a long time for smoke alarms to go off. Luckily a neighbour was sitting up waiting for a taxi to the airport and she saw the fire and phoned them. The fire service think it was a firework which started it, which is just another reason I wish firework sales were restricted to organised displays.
Anyway, on a more Christmassy note, we're off to see the Kid's Club showing at the cinema - Nativity, to get us in a Christmassy mood.
And I have arranged a trip with a friend next week to a town where there is both a Primarni and a B&M - beyond excited!0 -

Have a great time Christmas shopping.
I popped into Tesco last night and I think the Sensation crisps were £1 a bag, Think this was a bit cheaper than Co-Op ( I saw their brochure and my DD spotted them, was going to get them from /co-op too) HTH[SIZE=2]SPC4 #1395 Aug 11 £135.75/£150

Have just spoken to ddbf Dad and it is quite bad. I didn't know that the neighbours children from his first marriage were living there. So that is now 7 people homeless.:(
The fire started in the kids den, the TV caught light. Of course the kids just screamed, so instead of everyone moving away from the blaze, everyone went to see what the problem was. The Mum even went in carrying the baby.
Apparently it took hold very quickly.
I am going to ring round some friends today and try and get some clothes and toys for the kids. They were all in their pjs, and now that is all they have.:(
I really hope she was a disorganised Christmas shopper, and their presents have all gone aswell.0 -
