Walked all the way to Lidl today (with DS moaning every step of the way argh!) and all sold out of 17p chocolate. No xmas tree pasta either.
All their xmas food does look SO festive though!
I am going to treat myself to a trip to Lidl this week lol. (it's a treat because there isn't one close so need to spend a bit of petrol to get there!) I hope I can find some good stuff!!!
Is there anything else worth looking for other than the 17p chocolate, cellophane and Christmas tree pasta?Everything is always better after a cup of tea0 -

They do the most amazing mini marzipan stollen for £1.99.:j
And I always get my corned beef in mine. £1.19 for 5 slices.0 -
The Morrisons ad is a bit bleak. It'd be okay if she didn't look like she wanted to top herself throughout it.
And the poor tree! It's obviously supposed to be dryly funny, but I just didn't like it.:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0 -
Can I ask possibly a daft question-but to those who make the chocolate spoons. What else do you add to them? I've been some with marshmallows (mini ones) but what else could you use? Would coffee by too wierd? So it would be like a 'mocha'?

Is there anything else worth looking for other than the 17p chocolate, cellophane and Christmas tree pasta?I bought some of their normal chocolate and I didnt like it very much, not a huge fan of Lidl full stop tbh. Going to certain shops is my treat too mainly Home Bargains and The Range cos they're both 45 mins away!

That morrisons ad HAS to be a wind up.....Seriously.
It's so depressing!!! Christmas is happy, joyful and mainly for children. Not the mother looking like she was about to have a breakdown?!?!
Made me feel a little sad. Hope it is just a joke advert on the page. What is with the christmas advertising?! Asdas is just as bad with the new catchphrase 'christmas doesn't just happen by magic'....Luckily my kids are too young to pay attention or know what it means but still....
My Rant over!Mummy to two beautiful kids!Currently doing Access to Higher Education, hoping to go UWE in sept 2013 to do Nursing!0 -

They won't dissolve in the hot chocolate. They will just float. Instant coffee granules will work.
You could also use cinnamon sugar.
Just remember to let your chocolate cool down or the topping will just melt on contact.0
