Need to pick your brains again..
My mom has asked my dad for a coffee/beverage machine for Xmas, as always it's down to me to sort it out then he gives me the money! She wants to do coffee as well as hot chocolate etc.. I was looking at the Tassimo T65. If anyone could shed any light as to whether they are worth the money I'd be grateful. Also I was going to get her some pods for it so if anyone knows the cheapest regarding them, that would be fab!
My official start to Christmas is tonight! IM A CELEB! Once that starts I know it's definitely coming, I always start wrapping when it's on!

We brought one with our Christmas money back in 2009 - I love it, but sadly the pods work out so expensive that it is rarely used. We have not used it in about 6 months. However, if we had a greater disposable income then we most definitely would!
My favorites are the Milka hot chocolate and the starbucks coffee, in-fact I may secretly buy DHs favorite pods and wrap them up for Christmas - they work out at a whopping 75p a cup, so we generally don't splash out - perfect for Christmas though2024 Challenges

I got my mum a Tassimo a fee years back so it's a slightly older model now, but she loves it and still uses it all the time!
I found it very tricky to get the pods at first and found only Waitrose sold them, however she can get them in all supermarkets now and usually stocks up if tesco have a offer on.
I saw an advert before cos they now do costa coffee pods and you have reminded me to look into them as an extra for her. Thanks!0 -

Despite having claimed my Independence by moving out from my parents 4 years ago, I still haven't made a Christmas dinnerI think my tiny kitchen would cause me to have a space logistics breakdown :rotfl:

Have just showed my Grinch of a husband, and he loved it - well right up until the point she stated "I wouldn't have it any other way", he said that spoilt it.
Luckily I am used to him hating Christmas, I'm obsessed enough for both of us2024 Challenges

All their xmas food does look SO festive though!
