It's so depressing!!! Christmas is happy, joyful and mainly for children. Not the mother looking like she was about to have a breakdown?!?!
Made me feel a little sad. Hope it is just a joke advert on the page. What is with the christmas advertising?! Asdas is just as bad with the new catchphrase 'christmas doesn't just happen by magic'....Luckily my kids are too young to pay attention or know what it means but still....
My Rant over!
was there not a big who-haa over an advert last year that implied santa wasnt real? i remember reading something in the paper at the time and thinking how stupid can someone be to let that happen0 -

I can't remember JemTom (rarely read newspapers) :P
I can understand some of the humor like the christmas tree, that was funny in a way. But the rest was just like christmas was too much of an effort. When really it's not!! It's about enjoying the festivites and spending time with loved ones. They make it look like a burden
I reckon that advert is a bad move for morrisons! And they usually do quite festive adverts as wellMummy to two beautiful kids!Currently doing Access to Higher Education, hoping to go UWE in sept 2013 to do Nursing!0 -
Evening all.
Kind of disappointed in myself as over the weekend i was meant to be going out and starting my christmas shopping. But ended up not going! OH hasn't been very well in recent weeks and now lack of sleep is catching up both up very quickly.
On the other hand, We managed to write our christmas card list out & Make notes of all the goodies we want to buy rather then just rushing out and buy gift sets thats not really wanted or needed. With all this said we've got 6 weeks to Crimbo & over 20+ people to buy for!
Quick question: When do you all decide to write out christmas cards & get the tree + decs out? Is now too early??Future goals:
Become debt free.
Beat Depression.
Be happy & healthy0 -

Hope you have 'caught up' a little on sleep.
We always do tree and decs the first weekend in December. I told someone at work this and they said it was too early! I said it was perfectly fine because if I was spending good money on a real tree, I was gonna get my monies worth!:cool:0 -
Poundland had Moshi Monsters toothbrushes today. I know some of you were after them!
Apologies if this is old news, but I just thought I'd let you know just incase!0 -
Get the kids to make millions of snowflakes?
Thank you. Did start making some snowflakes today funnily enough! Decided i'm gonna try using wall paper lining paper to make a snowy scene. I'm certainly no artist:rotfl:
Off to Basildon tomorrow, the home of the cheap shops. Got planned visits to 99p shop, 98p shop, poundland, poundworld, QD Primark and if i can squeeze in a trip to home bargins. Think i might need a wee drink on my return :rudolf::rudolf::xmassmile0 -
I personally think that planning the Christmas cards and even buying them now is fine, but I just can't bring myself to do it before December.
My first pressie is 90% finishedHoping to be completed tomorrow!

Anyone wanting something 'posh' for a present...Harrods have a sale on. Some things are BOGOF, others are BOGOhalf price, others are just reduced. Got the MIL a teapot cosy and oven glove thing with cats all over it! She is cat mad! Was very tempted to buy more but resisted. Free delivery at the mo too!!!:j

There is a 98p shop? How funny!
I'm planning to put the tree and decs up on the 1st of December. I am tempted to decorate the bedroom at least before that, but I'll try to resist.:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0
