:j Being disorganised does work sometimes.:j
I bought some Tesco rewards vouchers off my Mums friend months ago, as she only uses them on normal food shopping.
I have been meaning to exchange them for ages, but kept thinking of it at work and forgetting when I got home.:o
So finally went on Tesco voucher site to order Prezzo and Cineworld vouchers for Christmas weekend away in Bury on the 23rd, to discover Cineworld have an offer on.
Meaning I had money leave over. So have added it to the Prezzo order. :j
This extra £2.50 is now £10 added to the £60 I thought I could get.
Hopefully this will cover the drinks, and the 4 of us will eat and drink for £17.50 plus pennies.:j:j0 -

A friend who was two years older than I was told me when I was 8. My best friend believed til she was 13! My two SIL both have Downs and still believe at 25 and 31, so magical! I just hope my nephews don't tell them when they stop believing (the eldest is 10 now...)

evening all!
Had great fun trying to play catch up with the thread all week in work and managed to grab some great bargains for the hampers along the way
Got the reindeer teddies in card factory, was surprised they were bigger than I imagined, such a good price and will really boost up the kids hampers!
Was in tescos tonight (and a different store yesterday afternoon) and no one has those selection boxes, now tried 3 stores so think Im out of luck!! The offer ends Sunday so unless they get more in tonights delivery.....however they were selling quality street boxes for bogof!
Also had a great time in M&S they have a good selection of smellies on bogohp so got a few more bits for the adult hampers and if you are lucky theyve got a few half price items which has really helped! Managed to make a saving of £11.80 in there alone! :T
Ive taken a photo of all the gifts ive bought so far and the families hampers total to £142 (8 adults 2 kids) still a few more things to get but think Im still on target for the £200 budget :j
Now to go catch up on the last few pages ...........Life is what you make it.0 -
Hello
A bit off topic, but my baby will be one on the 24th December-so xmas eve! Does anyone have any ideas on something I could make or buy for him, that will make his day special (I am worried xmas will take over if that makes sense). I am counting this xmas as his first-as we had a rough start to his real 1st one (my older son was in hospital for a week, then I was ill soon after giving birth so it went by in a fuzzy blur sadly).
We plan to have a family party/get together the weekend before the big day to make it special for him (and us). But not sure what special present I could have for him. I have already made both my boys a simple bag with their names on, but they're for xmas day.
Not sure if anyone can help? just sitting here wondering.....
keely.Mommy to Elliot (5) and Lewis (born xmas eve 11!)0
