Damn, if only I'd seen this a couple of hours ago. Just been to poundland and got some. They were with normal bin bags rather than christmas bits and tbh weren't glaringly obvious.

Bit sad, but I got a couple of stocking bits of for next year too:rotfl: They've got so much this year that I'm going to squirrel them away - got tubes of 'magic snow' for all 3 and a penguin skipping rope for DD (all from poundland)

    Afternoon elfies

My god, it's taken me hours to catch up on the posts since last week.

Got my selection boxes in Mr T's today, hundreds of them all around the store, a real shame not on all of them like last year! But got 1 each for my girls and one extra for school raffle.

As I wandered around I was humming christmas songs, such a shame no xmas music playing in there.

Finally got DD1's main pressie today sorted, and a couple of bits from TRUs with 20% off, used the last of my survey earnings so only paid 20 quid for 66 worth of toys.

One good bargain they did have if anyone has a barbie mad kiddie to buy for, DD saw a Barbie with a VideoCam in her back, advertised on TV a couple of nights ago for 49.99, its reduced to half price in TRus, then with a further 20% off brings it to under £20. Hope this helps someone. X

Am going to spend the afternoon vegging watching something on Christmas 24.

They sold for £1.50, which is quite good considering the bars cost 20p. They are a bit fiddly to make though.

Wow, that's good! I was thinking a pound, but that was great :TFiddly doesn't bother me- I find if I get organised and do things like a sort of production line, I get it done fast.

To those asking about Vistaprint - I ordered 5 calendars the other week for £15. Postage £5-odds but it was free if I spend over £20 (I got cards as well)
Ordered on the Sunday, everything arrived by the Friday. I use them every year.:T

Waiting till hubby gets home then I'm popping out to try and get some selection boxes at Mr T's (Picking up some for a friend as well)

Also need to browse Toys R Us website - they have 20% off this weekend and my sis gets 20% staff discount on top, so I need to chose gifts for the kids 'from the grannies' that she is picking up for them :rotfl:

How could I forget! I also got a Christmas iPhone cover (4/4s) from poundland. It's blue with a snowman on it :) also had green with a reindeer and blue with snowflakes.

It's plastic so likely to snap quite easily (I have to take my cover off to fit in my armband for running) but its fab :)

I had an email for a no purchase necessary free nail varnish from American Apparel. Happy to fwd it to anyone who cares to receive it - nice treat for the hands after all the wrapping - or else maybe a stocking filler?
