Damn, if only I'd seen this a couple of hours ago. Just been to poundland and got some. They were with normal bin bags rather than christmas bits and tbh weren't glaringly obvious.
Bit sad, but I got a couple of stocking bits of for next year too:rotfl: They've got so much this year that I'm going to squirrel them away - got tubes of 'magic snow' for all 3 and a penguin skipping rope for DD (all from poundland)
no worries, didnt know if it was cheeky to ask - but dont ask you dont get!!!!
i did look all over but couldnt see them, hope i wasnt just being blind!!!0 -
Hi
Haven't started wrapping yet, but I have paper and tags, so it's just a case of getting on with it. Don't like that bit
bossymoo, I find the best way to do it, is to gather what I think I'll be able to do in the time I've got, pop the kettle on, hot up a mince pie, put on some Christmassy music & not answer the phone.
I try to see it as a little treat to me0 -
I've just seen 1ltr bottles of Baileys for £10 in Asda. I'm sure the other supermarkets will follow. Has anyone seen it for £10 anywhere else?0

Hehehe sorry, that'll teach me to think I'm being obvious! I was going for Amazon. I've got vouchers to use on Amazon so I'm probably stuck with themI'm watching the appletters game (similar to bananagrams) but if anyone does see it for under £10 I might be tempted to go elsewhere

Going to have a large choc bar at the bottom, then getting a bucks fizz gift set (The one with a few chocos and mini bottle) then another choc bar (kit kat probably) top trumps, and the mystical fire sachets i've bought and i shall get a shaped chocolate santa or penguin to sit in the front... That way i don't have to wrap up the other little bits i've already got and its a present sleigh not just a chocolate themed one.. think it will work ok?
That sounds brilliant, what a good idea.I've just seen 1ltr bottles of Baileys for £10 in Asda. I'm sure the other supermarkets will follow. Has anyone seen it for £10 anywhere else?
I've always found that whenever Asda sell it at £10 they never have any! I bought it in Morrison's at £12 as well.Hobnobs are like marines0 -

Written bysomeone off MSE podperson, its an e-book for adults called An Angel for the tree. Its a holiday romance with a magical twist.

I noticed in the card factory today that they had two different types of Christmas notebooks. They were 99p each. One was red with Santa on it and the other blue with a snowman and they were by the tills.0

That's OK, actually just logged back in to say that I hope I was allowed to say it. Not fully up on forum rules, so not sure if it could be counted as spam or whether it can't be mentioned due to it being a personal thing????????
I hope not as I just thought I would mention it on here as a few weeks back we were discussing Christmas fiction books, so I knew it would be interesting for us 'xmassers' as we were called before. Don't want either of us to get in trouble :eek:13 projects in 2013 0/130
