anyone seen any metal screw top sweet jars? looking for something like this http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Navigate?ps=&storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&txt=sweets&x=0&y=0
as my lo has asked for one for xmas anyone actually pay these prices?? looking to make my own version as I'm sure it can be done far far cheaper but cant seem to find any jars that look the same.
some fantastic homemade things on here dont really have the time this yr but will def be borrowing a few ideas next yr if thats ok
ordered a few dvds off di$ney rewards so thats a couple more freebies for the kids hampers
anyone else find that by buying stuff early theres soo much temptation to buy more then you need/planned? technically I finished the presents for my youngest wks ago and far underbudget(the rest will go into a savings account) but keep seeing stuff on offer and thinking oh that would be perfect and then have to stop myself coz I really dont need to buy anything lo else and its not very ms to buy more for the sake of it.
The jars aren't the same as the ones above but these ones come in a pack of 4 so you could maybe do a variety of sweets. They're nice jars (I bought them to put my bath scrub in cos I didn't want glass jars around the bathroom)

Morning. I ordered the paper bags off of Amazon in two different sizes, thank you for the links x
Goodluck Louise and OMO I'm sure youll do well with orders.
I went to a parent and toddlers yesterday for the first time and got asked to do the Christmas fair they are havng on the 1st of Dec. one of the mums had seen my fb page and liked them. So I will be busy for the next few weeks. As well as my usual stuff, I was going to make a few tea cup candles. They are quite expensive to make, (about £5) once I buy the cups. Not sure how much to charge. How much would you pay for one all wrapped nice in cellophane?:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Ive got an ottoman (sp?) ful of presents that need wrapping, its so tempting but I like to have my weekend in December with christmas films on.. Gets me into the christmas spirit and i can put them straight under the tree :-)
I have made all my bows and tags.. Will try and post a pic if i can!
When do you think i could start my sweetie jars & reindeer poops? The sweetie jars are kilner jars so i presume they would be airtight!

Now, I know that I have been reading this since the beginning and do actually buy throughout the year, mainly because I hate shopping in crowds and this is pretty much unavoidable when working full time, but I don't get into the swing of things until the week before Christmas.
But last night, when driving to my class I nearly crashed when I saw a Christmas tree up:eek: Far too earlyA smile costs little but creates much0 -
for those doing food hampers, LIDL will be selling 500g packs of tri-coloured Christmas shaped pasta for 99p from Thursday (8th Nov) I can see Christmas trees & stars but can't determine what the other shapes are.0
